So you're looking for the MSE threads without the interruptions from the rest of us then
Well, it would have been rude to put it like that....!:D
MG - I'm sure you could turn the contents of the different threads into blogs... or even books... obviously you couldn't quote them verbatim (Martin has copyright in anything on this site) but you could tell the story, and reference the threads for people wanting the details. I'm sure you could paint some very interesting character portraits of the other contributors to the threads... and DS1 might be able to provide the illustrations
(actually, when is DS1 getting his own blog so we can read the TRUTH about living with you:D)
I seem to recall people have been saying for ages that MG could write a book about her experiences!
Seriously MG - about the blog - honestly no need to wait for professional input - just get yourself onto Blogger or Wordpress and get going! It really IS that easy! There are lots of fab blogs based on the blogger templates - and all of them manage to look very different to one another! (Take a look at mine, Down To Earth, and Frugal Queen's, to give you an idea what I mean about that)🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Yep, I'm with everyone else MG, get yourself a blog girl! I love looking back at mine - mostly put cheery stuff and photos on it, so I can look back and see all the adventures I've been having!
No professional input at all - and no adverts on mine either - dead easy to sort it all out, and all free :j (mine's blogger)

Afternoon Matrix peeps.
Well, tomorrow I have put a whole day in my diary for working on my CIPFA Portfolio. In preparation for it, I have written down everything I need to do, got the form I need to submit it with, worked out how expensive it is going to be (£200! for the blinking people to read the thing I have put together because they have told me I have to. I ask you! How cheeky is that?!). I even found out the latest deadline for submission. If I make the 1 August deadline, the results will be out on my birthday. That seems to be some kind of synchronicity!:rotfl: So... ladies... I need your positive vibes please. Lots and lots of them!!
It is going to be pretty nightmarish trying to get it finished, so if you see me here, or on the other side tomorrow, please tell me to get my bahookie back to the portfolio, okay?! Thanks all!

You lot are really funny - but I get the hint ............... get writing lassie.:rotfl:
Spent the afternoon doing battle with the Job Centre - turns out that all the files have been physically moved from Dundee to Falkirk and they couldn't tell me what period they were looking for...... until they had looked in the paper files:eek:
However - once I had the dates, point, click, print:T So they will be handed in to a lady at the local JC and should all be sorted - fingers crossed for all back money to be swiftly forthcoming as funds are severely depleted.
What a scutter as my Granny would have said.
Time to have a quick tidy - and then decide which carpet I will be ordering for the bedroom - will order in a day or two when there are cleared funds in the account.
Now I need to smile sweetly at Mr Fantasia and see how his diary is looking .................. which reminds me - Fantasia?? How is the new job going??
DS2 has started to refer to his Artic Tomato seedlings as his babies - his "jelly Babies" - I think he is going to be one dissappointed toddler when they fruit :rotfl:

Thriftlady is a username on MSE. When I googled it I got a thread on the old-style board and if you left click on her user name, her home page is the blog. Here is the address http://thequincetree65.blogspot.com/
Putting Attic24 into google I can up with http://attic24.typepad.com/. I am guessing this is the correct one as it talks about crochet

I've got mine as my homepage on here, and I think a few other people do the same - otherwise if you google (for example) The Quince Tree Blog you'll find them. Cheery's can be found under Daffy's Garden.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
