How about having a 100 day challenge? How many surveys can you complete in 100 days and how much would that earn you? Ok ladies lets get the MSE heads on and look at some inventive money making ideas. Maybe we could run a competition - who can earn the most in a short space of time? Claire Or Mr Claire? Would he be on board for that?
    • Ebay - jewellery
    • Amazon - books and cds?
    • surveys
    • free bingo
    • matched betting
    • road kill - save up all the pennies you find in the street (no shame me)
    • money off vouchers at supermarket - for every penny you save put it in the pig
*cashback for purchases including supermarket shopping

Some survey sites I am aware of
    • crowdology
    • mysurveys
    • onepoll
Claire - do you have your own diary where you can keep track.

The lady who lived on a £1 a day in order to buy her brother and SIL lifetime membership to NT found over the course of a year over £100 in small change in the street. Now if you found it in a pile in one go you'd see people picking it up so why not the penny here and there :D She said that outside shops, pubs etc were the best picking sites ;)

Don't think the universe is liking me very much at the moment lol

Now now we don't "do" that sort of talk, negative stuff attracts so stick your positive hat on. this is a challenge but one that you CAN achieve, just have to get inventive thats all :D
One of the lovely ladies on the OS Daily had a H who bought some sort of radio from a car boot for £15. They managed to sell it on ebay for £262  Now I am not suggesting that you'll be to be as successful but it goes to show you can pick up things relatively cheap from car boot and make a profit on ebay. Even if it's a £1 after ebay fees it's worth it.

Buffy - sorry to hear you've had a carp day. Have a hug and a virtual alcoholic beverage x

lol ok looking good for me, I won't count the £200 I have in CU already as I may need to fall back on that for an emergency, But I did open an Ing direct savings account a while ago and it has £51.43 in it,( so I'm going to transfer my odd money in my current account into it and watch it build up, plus the £25 a week I was putting into CU. Plus my odd pot change, so My total balance so far in my ing account is tttaaadddaaaaaa.....................drum roll.................................................................

    £53.71

    plus £1.60 in change pot

Runs off to change sig :)

Ok if I started a diary what would I call it? So I'm not taking over MG's thread, unless you don't mind me posting my boiler updated here

No you wouldn't. If it is good enough for him it can be good enough for you.

I know, I know BF doesn't hang the washing like I do but you know what. When it goes into the drawers nobody would know the difference. And now I am just grateful that when he comes here and sees full wash basket he just does it for me :smileyhea

Challenge (insert here trumpeting and a drumroll)

Three main categories each dividing to three like this:

    Organised:
    - clutter free
    - working filing system (I know what to do just need to do it)
    - on top of my task list

    Debt free
    - ACCA qualified (I'll put this here as it has effect on my earning potential)
    - Uptodate accounts (budgets, cashflows etc)
    - Pay off all debt

    Heart singing part i.e. animals
    - Spend time with them (learn to ride properly, get a cat)
    - Animal communication (enroll to course that is in the autumn, BF already promised to look after DD so that I can go)
    - My webbysite

And I have 1249 days to get there chairspin.gif (off to see how much I need to pay per day...)

    Hi Everyone

Wow all these new challenges are inspiring. Well done Claire, can't believe you managed to find that money already :) My challenge is moving on swiftly - only 3 weeks left in Kampala! The time has gone so quickly. I haven't managed to Skype with my tutors much this time, so hopefully the information I have collected will be useful and good. I can't *wait* to come home and see my OH. And I'm so excited about hot showers :D I have managed to shrink the size of my backside a lot since I've been here - yay! So that's another goal progressing well. Motivation is flagging a bit, but determined to keep it up...

Poor wee soul has taken himself off to bed - climbed the stairs, found his pet puppy and snuggled under the duvet.

    Awww, soooo cute :D

    Debt-busting Divas - oh yeah :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Go Claire :T:T:T

MG, meant to ask earlier, what 7 areas of your life are you working on? (serious question)
