MG, meant to ask earlier, what 7 areas of your life are you working on? (serious question)
MY 7 areas are:
1. Family Life
2. Social Life
3. Personal Development
4. Health
5. Attitude / Spiritual
6. Career
7. Finances
But I guess you could choose 7 that resonate for you. My embrionic plan is then to have one day per week when I make an EXTRA special effort in moving thats days goal forward.
So Family Life will be Saturdays - family Adventures
Attitude / Spiritual - Sundays
Social Life - Fridays
Career - Mondays
Its helping me to take baby steps forward every day.

Boomin heck Clare you need to joint the £10 a day challenge at that rate.
Ok, Surveys - you can earn a fair bit both in cash and in vouchers so why not get OH and yourself signed up - you can compete against each other to see who gets the most earnings from it. Vouchers - head over to the freebies threads and there is a thread there with lists of current vouchers for spending in stores. I dont do the bingo or matched betting for the same reasons.
Road kill - I read about somebody who used to go to the office coffee and vending machines at the end of every day and minesweep underneath for all of the loose change that people dropped. He made something like £100 per month some months!!!!Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

MG you need to get all these fab gems of ideas "out there" - start a life-style blog, get your follower numbers up, write a book - your followers will buy it. Have you seen Rhondas blog "Down to Earth" - just an idea that may grow legs.Memory_Girl wrote: »MY 7 areas are:

Brilliantly simple idea - love it, thank you :T:T0 -
Wow, the thread has moved loads today!
Well done Claire, that's great progress already.
Great goals Marru. When do you qualify?
MG - I love the idea of the 24 boxes with actions in each. I get teased mercilessly for putting all my plans into boxes, but it works for me :rotfl:. I've also tried to keep my goals within some 'areas' so that I keep some kind of balance as it's so easy to concentrate on one area at the expense of others.
I've updated my goals to do list for the week and have 27 actions , but as long as I make progress every evening, then some extra actions on the weekend, it should be doable. Tonight I've prepped some mailing info, followed up on some customer queries and will shortly head off to bed where I'll read for a while before sleeping (currently reading Jack Canfield's Success Principles...again, as it's sooo good!)

Thanks Been. Hopefully if I can do 3 exams per year I should be getting my last results in Feb 2013, obviously all of my PER done by then so that I can get qualified asap because I need to stay with my employer 24 months after qualifying or I need to pay study costs back (£450 per unit times 6 ) - lucky I like my job"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Hi everyone, I am still reading almost every day but not getting over to the other side as often as I would like to as I have lost my way a little.
I am learning so much from you all and hoping to soon have the strength and confidence to try and make changes in my life so I can find satisfaction with my achievements and maybe different career.
I have not felt any sense of personal satisfaction since the kits for kids collection when i actually felt that I could successfully achieve something, I could use my 15 minutes per day to help make a difference.
That was last year and I am still holding out to gain inspiration from someone somewhere sometime in the near future.
I am writing this on my iPhone and can't actually manage to go back to read or edit my message so think it's probably best to sign off and say keep up the good work and messages. It's all worthwhile and a great source of inspiration and motivation.
Thanks girls (and blokes!!)

Hi Dirtyepic - I hope you find something that makes your heart sing soon.
Coffee (and blanket) in the garden this morning - our Housemartins are making loads of noise, do you think the chicks will be out soon?
May have to go shopping today (tomato sauce is well and truly finished), but food stores are holding up well, but a few more "picnic lunch" things for the boys are in the offing.
I'm going to continue the challenge forward by making it a "less than a quid" challenge, where I plan around using the food from my stores and keep the aggregated spends to less than a pound a day per person. Its not a VERY diffcult challenge for us (becasue of the style of food we eat) but will stop the willy nilly food purchases and the "not thinking / planning" that creeps in.
All money will be diverted to the "World Education Fund" for DS1.
And for those of you interested in the progress of DS1's Magic Garden - this morning I have celeraic sprouting on my bedroom window:) We love celeraic, grated in winter salads, gratined with a roast chicken, pureed into soup and it makes a very tasty addition to a veggie biryani.I would love to have a good dozen or so plants in the garden for eating over the winter.
I have also inherited a pot of leek seedlings :T Lovely neighbours. So they will be transplanted to our "winter beds" too. Looks like there are about 50 in the pot. I can keep ourselves, my parents and the old dears around the corner in soup all winter with 50 leeks so I hope they do really well.
Mum is doing a car boot (the big one in Errol) later in the month so I will be seeking some decluttering inspiration from you guys to move loads of stuff out of the door. My back is still a little tender so I will have to do a little at a time. Oh Boy!!! I wish I had my team of Drag Queen Cleaners to come in and help me empty the place:D
Better go and feed the small people - I can hear them stirring.
