That's good news Susan. No 1 will be ok after a day or two of TLC and paracetamol :D

Oh, and I was going to say - don't forget to vote :) x

    Glad everything's ok Susan.

Big day today - painting backdrops for a play that my class are doing at a local park then got the big bad meeting with the big big bosses about our school and my big bad balls up!

Neither the boss or chair of governors get on with the 2 big bad lady bosses we are going to face, I am not officially invited but am going anyway and I think the whole thing is going to be very uncomfortable to say the least. Lots of positive vibes needed please - worst case scenario is they want to close or amalgamate us which would kill the local community and also potentially see me out of a job (too many chiefs etc). :(

On the happy side of life my crocked back is still sore and I had to go for a lovely pedicure last night as I can't reach my own feet most days. So at least in the meeting I will be sat there knowing I have the prettiest toes there, always a silver lining :rotfl:

    Morning everyone.

Bit chilly here today so I I am going to have a big paperwork clearout instead of gardening. And TMIF I will go to vote this evening. My view is that you can't complain if you haven't taken part - not that I am one to complain lol

So pleased that everything seems OK Sue, Hope that no news is good news this morning.

Great news about the material Bitsy - wishing you the time to use it

    Good morning

Had a fab nights sleep last night, best in weeks :) so I'm full of chirpyness this morning and raring to go, (well it will last until my body says it cannot cope no more :))

Kitchen living room and dining room have been cleaned floors washed, will do bathroom when I've had a shower. 1st load of washing on. So its looking lovely downstairs apart from a small area on the table where I have been sorting beads.

Upstairs however looks like a BOMB HAS GONE OFF  Not sure how long I will be able to stand the mess, but I have to be patient if I want the boys to sort their bedrooms properly :) they have both promised to do half an hour sorting every evening when they come home from school/work. Ds2 came down this morning and said "mam I have pulled everything out of one cupboard ready for when I come home  not even going to look :)

Have to meet mum at some point today to go shopping.

We got more decking stain yesterday, and some masonary paint to start sorting out the outside of the house. As it was 3 for 2. So a nice terracotta to go on the extension wall and white for the front and top wall at the back.

Susan glad there was nothing serious wrong with gs :)

MG hope your not too uncomfortable with your back.

    Morning Matrix

Thank you so much for all your positive thoughts last night. It quite brought a tear! No 1 was seen immediately on arrival and had all sorts of tests. Nothing sinister found. After several hours and a more senior doctor being called in the conclusion was 'a virus'. Seems to be the medical equivalent of 'dunno'. They were allowed home but I haven't heard anything yet this morning. I guess they all need to sleep.

MG - good luck with the mentors. Remember they are the advisors/supporters. You are in charge.

    Have a good day everyone

    Sue

I sooooo hear you on that one. Virus seems to be a catch-all for every ailment under the sun with my kids. Glad GS1 is OK and that he was seen so quickly :D Sometimes to NHS does get it right :)

Right woke feeling nice and positive although with DS and his behaviour at the mo I feel that feeling wearing off :o It's not all ASD, plenty of it is typical 5 year old who's feeling his feet, lots of back chat (in his own ASD style LOL), he keeps drawing the "red face" (which is something they use in school for kids who won't do as they are told) and writing my name on it :rotfl: Am such a bad mommy for not giving in all the time

Anyway I was doing a tiny bit of CM work and it spurred me to write a list of CM frogs I HAVE to complete before my next inspection some time next year. I don't want to be like many CM's who end up leaving it until the phone call from Ofsted causing lots of sleepless nights and panicking :o These Frogs will be a work iin progress, not all can be done in one fell swoop but I am sure with a bit of ketchup I can chew on them nicely ;) :rotfl:

Have a wonderful, positive filled day. Wasn't too cold when I put the bins out this morning although the big yellow ball is hiding behind cloud. Taking all the kids to Polling station whilst I vote, might as well see democracy in action ;)

    Good Morning Matrix.

Had some very good unexpected financial news yesterday; I opened my bank statement and grinned! :D It has not put me on easy street, and I am not going to be resigning from my job to live the high life, but I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, I have more money available to me than I have ever had before. Of course, I am not going to use it, necessarily, but it is a great relief to know that i have it available if I need it.

Right, off to my first meeting of the day, and then I have to come back and put my nose to the grindstone. Lots and lots to do today. Will try and post later, and I hope that everyone has a wonderfully positive day. :D:D:D

Right washing machine is on a spin, so I'm off to put washing on line, have a shower, clean bathroom and then tackle my bedroom and strip the bed.

Marru, congrats on the new house! MG, well done on the coaching, that's a brilliant amount of money :j

From the Universe I don't need money, but could do with some attention and support. Can I write that on my cheque instead?? :rotfl:

Hi Dinah :D Think you need to talk to Mr Firewalker (is that his user name?) about going over to the 'other side' for business-focussed chat.

Not feeling very well today so cancelled fieldwork and am staying in the guest house to catch up a bit.

    Crickett that's wonderful news too!

    Have a great day everyone.
