    thanks Bitsy xx

I have read some of the material, I have a plan and I have the whole day tomorrow. I shouldn't be going out tonight but I don't think I will get much done and this has been a longstanding arrangement.

I will clear my desk before I go out tonight and print out the plan etc.

    xxx

Could you manage an hour on this AFTER you get back? Assuming you're not under the influence (although secretly that might be a wee bit more fun......make interesting reading that's for sure :rotfl:)

Well my house is nice and tidy again :) looked like a bomb had hit it when I got home.

But my legs are absolutely killing me tonight, think I have done too much walking, didn't help that the walk to the business centre was uphill :( beginning to wonder if I will cope off IB and into the world of work if I can't walk a bit further one day without being in agony after.

Currently updating Risk Assessments. Anyone got a large cold beer they'd like to donate to me? ;)

Sorry Bitsy, my house is alcohol free. Despite the fact that I was tempted to buy big bottle of port and drown half of it as soon as I got home. Also I wanted to buy a huuuge tin of chocolates and big bag of crisps. What is going on? Well the fact that I didn't have tea last night and as I had run out of salady stuff I didn't have my own hearty salad for lunch at work today and had to make do with the measly thing I got from canteen.

So I shall be kind to myself and after DD has gone to bed have a delicious meal of asparragus, broccoli and steak. YUM!!! And a bargain comparing how much the booze, chocolate and crisps would have cost me.

I wish I could say that I am achieving in the speed of light (or what ever the comparison was) I am reading book about depression (another one) and facing the dilemma: getting things done so that they don't mount up and running out of energy vs beating myself for getting things done and running out of energy. End result: lots of beating, nothing done, no energy. I feel a blog post coming up after some more reading but FOOOOOD first.

Bitsy I think you'll find that my fridge is not full of such things at the moment (mores the pity) due to the diet!!!

DE, good to see you on here and Cheerys right, we're not all doing exciting things all the time! I have been forced to go for interviews or not have a job in a bit and for a lot of us, we could have a good old whinge and a moan but its not going to sort anything is it? We all do it at times but in the main we have food and roofs over our heads and the way I see it, that means we haven't got an awful lot to moan about.

Just read a really good book on the whole work life fulfilment thing called '30 something and over it' by Kasey Edwards. I can recommend it ladies.

I do work well under pressure. Well I did last time I wrote an essay!

goes off to clear desk xx

Glad to hear that. I work best under pressure so go for it. If, by Thursday you think you won't make it then you can ask for an extension. Nothing like a deadline to focus the mind. Enjoy yourself tonight first though.

Cheery, slow down my lovely, you will collapse at the rate you are going.

Souk, I am off to read that book but would it work for 40 somethings? (although in my head I am 20 something)
