Just had a girl friend in for a coffee - well she has a glass of water. Turns out she has signed up for a 100 days L******life" plan to lose her excess weight for Christmas.

She is full of the joys of spring - but I have admit the shake didn't look or smell terribly appetising to me (but then as you guys know I LOVE food) .................... but here's the killer. ITS £66 PER WEEK!!!!

OMG!!! I don't spend that on feeding US ALL!!!

Still its what she wants to do - so good on her. Me I am sticking to my gradually reducing plan of loads of good interesting and mega cheap food instead.

Wonder which one of us will last the journey - both looking to shed 3 stone by Christmas.

A friend of mine did it. No proper food for approx 90 days :eek: Honestly I think I'd have gone mental without proper food never mind the cost per week.

gillian - please don't be intimidated, no one on here bites ;)

Souk - positive vibes for interview :D

Sorry if I've missed anything else, been trying to catch up for last 2 hours but kids keep interrupting

After approx 5 weeks of birthday parties the end is in sight......until September <rollseyes> one more party tomorrow and then we can hopefully claim our weekends back a bit <breathes sigh of relief>
DD feel asleep in the car so for once rather than sit on my butt I decided to keep an eye on her by weeding front garden and tidying it up :D Go me :j that's something else I can cross off my list.

Don't head to the Arms then as there's a rather depressing thread which has morphed into how people should have no sympathy as it was self inflicted, no one is born a drug addict etc. Makes me despair for humanity when I see some total lack of compassion for another human being and one who has clearly struggled with addiction and failed to save herself :(

It is just sad that anyone dies at such a young age, regardless of how it happened. Drug addiction is an illness like any other.

I hope we never become that negative and judgemental here - I wish only that she finds peace wherever she has gone. Peace that she never found here.

You guys know a bit about my "s*x. drugs and sausage rolls" background - and I feel nothing but sadness for all the wasted young lives in our profession.

    Her poor family

I am so sad to hear all the callous and evil comments that people are already making (not just on MSE but twitter,FB etc) regarding such a sad loss of a young life.

Are people really that de sensitized that the death of a talented lady is news to warrant jokes and snide remarks.

She chose the wrong path to follow and for that i have little sympathy, but we have all made wrong choices through life. Some of us were just lucky they did not have such categoric and tragic results. No matter what anybodys opinion of her life and lifestyle that she chose, she was still a friend/daughter who has(had) a family and friends that this will deeply effect and whom should be shown some sympathy.

    *steps down off soap box*

My bad news today is that DH took the car to work this morning, and it "clunked" something (Technical therefore i switched off) wrong with the suspension = £200 bill!

My good news, it is the start of the school holidays, DS has been an angel today and i learnt how to crochet a heart! :D
