I have found a solicitor so I don't need to go to court on Friday on my own. It is going to cost a fortune  but has to be done. Off to photocopy some documents...

I'm sure it will be money well spent . Good luck for Friday, hun, . Sending you lots of positive vibes

I'm also lucky that my mortgage overpayments can be used for a mortgage holiday or drawn down, so they're all part of my strategy for managing any future financial crisis.

In theory mine is too - I have an offset mortgage from the "Big Horse" Bank currently at 2.24% like a huge overdraft really.

In theory any money available would be able to be drawn out - but the account is still frozen.

I hope that when the personal guarantee is paid they will allow me to use the account for its proper purpose - and at that point I should be able to use the guarantee repayments against the capital of my mortgage meaning £230 additional to mortgage capital every month.

I'm counting down the months -can't you tell???

Well done Crickett! Remember that a bit of up and down is normal anyway...

And Marru - the solicitor will be worth the money. It's your life and you DD's and it will be a good investment.

I have to admit I nearly gave up on the run after a few minutes as my breathing was all over the place. However, I walked the uphill bits (this was the 'flat' route, but seriously, nowhere here is flat!), and managed to run the downhill and flat bits. Only about 1pm, but it's a start. No cramps, which is great... Some breakthrough bleeding which is bugging me (sorry if TMI but it's frustrating me, as I only get it if I exercise and the literature is unclear as to whether it is a side effect of the medication or not...).

Just having a cup of tea after lunch, then I need to drop in to the pub and book a table for tomorrow (parents will be back) and after that will probably nip into town for q change of scenery before heading back to read/watch mindless junk on TV/think about presentations :D

Well done, you! It's a good investment.

Don't forget to envisage the Matrix marching in and fixing the git with stony stares.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Claire, let's just say I am so angry I am spitting feathers . A well-meaning, nosy, ignorant, umempathic [STRIKE]friend[/STRIKE] acquaintance sent me this http://www.myoutofcontrolteen.com/LaunchingAdultChildren-Aspergers as the answer to "all my problems". (When I am feeling calmer, she shall be let go, with love, to follow her own path otherwise I may just punch her lights out).

Thank you but my Aspie son is not out-of-control, nor is he a problem, he is in fact an sensitive, intelligent young man who is a joy to live with. My family is not broken, it does not need fixed and if she can't handle the fact that my family is different to hers, that's her problem.

I cannot tell you how incensed I am but you may all be getting the gist by now. As a family we may be a square peg but we will not be hammered into a round hole just to make other people feel easier.

Sorry for the rant, I shall now go and make tea, Thriftyxxx
