Cheri : I’m with EH that you may well not have changed but that ‘someone’ may have – or has always thought it, or has an unrelated issue which controlling you in some way helps him/her?

I’m saying this from personal experience. It was happening to me many years ago and there was an underlying issue in his life which meant that whatever I did would have been wrong. The ‘putting down’ was very hard to take and nearly caused me to have a breakdown.

I like Cheery’s idea of being able to do anything. If reincarnation proves to the true, I’m coming back as a 5’, curly haired, petite and totally helpless blonde and men will queue up to take care of me when I totter on my 5” heels. I’ll probably end of stabbing them all with my stilettos.

Or I’ll be a dog with a really good home!:j:j:j

Following on from that, MGs idea of a new label for tomorrow is rather good. I’ll have to think on.

Crickett : well done on the plans for your new house. When it comes along, you are more likely to recognise it because you have visualised it. In the meantime, it gives you something to focus on when things seem dark.

Welcome to new folk. :hello: It’s good to have new people and new views – it’s even good to have new challenges. I find someone’s answer to a situation I didn’t really relate to at first read helps me in some way.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Thanks for the comments ladies things to digest and cogitate.

Hmmm label for tomorrow. What a fun thing to think about. Who do I want to be tomorrow? Well as I am working at the International Eisteddfod how about a really savvy, harpist .......... Oh no that would be LHG I think!

Hmmm - label for tomorrow? I would like to be a Diva with all the tantrums to come with it. I want to be the one to express my feelings and be heard and someone else to clean the mess after my tantrum. And someone else to placate me and say that I can have what ever I want if I just calm down.

Really bad day today. Really bad. Home now safe without alcohol and without sugar. Burgers with veggies and salad for tea and then some personal finances must be tackled. Or I might go and sort out my clothes but perhaps not considering the mood I am in as I don't think I would have much left - feeling like chucking the whole lot into the bin.

ETA: feeling better now, I just wrote a list of things that were good today in my diary and it helped AND it was longer than the list for bad things. Off to cook tea...

ETA 2: Just read the stuff about emotional vampires. My mum is the victim, dad the controller but OMG my ex is all of them (like it came as a surprise...)

For tomorrow I am going for Diva, not that far off normal for me :D and when asked at the Liza concert tomorrow night I can say 'Im not a fag hag, Im a gay icon as fag hags tend to be women who cant get men and that clearly doesn't apply to me' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Plan to start on the eyeliner at around 4pm and just keep going til I leave the house at 7. VERY EXCITED.

Cheery, hugs. I dont expect that you've changed at all lovey. Have you and possibly this other person been feeling a bit under pressure thanks to your latest venture?! Could be waaaay off the mark here but just a feeling.

Willow, you sound much more on it today and Marru XXX

Emotional Vampire Link there you go Crickett. Lots of info. out there.

Oooh, I'm up for being a Burlesque dancer tomorrow MG (just saw the film on Saturday). Mind you I'd need to lose 3 stone, plus 25 years :rotfl:.

The three stone I understand; but where do the 25 years come from? Cher was born in 1946!:rotfl:

The Finale routine from the film "Stepping Out" of course. My claim to fame is that me, 12 Drag Queens in black leotards, fishnets and stilletoes attended the royal Premier - and we sat in the row behind Princess Di - although to be fair she probably thought I was a Drag Queen too:D

Goodness! I really don't have imagination. Have been sitting here, thinking what I wish to be tomorrow - and cannot think of single thing but me! How sad is that - btw I did think about many famous intellectuals I wish to be. Does this count?
