If you'll pay me in chocolate coins bitsy, i'll be round tomorrow...

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I think you may be having a fight with my kids on that one. And me if truth be told.....I love chocolate coins :o

More early morning gorgeous sunshine.......it amazes me how much of this I must have missed lounging in bed pre kids :D
(Willow: this is how I switch my thinking from negative to positive. From OMG how tired am I going to be, why can't the kids ever lie in to wow look how gorgeous and sunny it is, I can hear how quiet the neighbourhood is, the birds are singing etc etc. It takes practice and that's not to say I NEVER moan, I do, I wouldn't be human otherwise but I am now more aware of how negative some of the things I say are. People ask me how I am.......not bad. Not bad? I should be saying I'm great, I'm good.... :D I have now realised just how negative my mum is (not suprised given her life experiences) and I am sure that's had an impact on me growing up but I am working on her to see the positive light in situations. Ooops sorry for the waffle there)

Yet another childrens party today and the usual endless tidying, worse when H is at home weekends (why IS that?)
Have been a bit neglectful of getting stuff done last two weeks so need to make a list of outstanding jobs that need doing and start making an effort to get them done.

    GOOD DAY SUNSHINE

Bitsy, I couldnt agree more. I love early mornings, the sun rising, the pink sky, the dew on the grass, the birds singing, the sheep bahing and the cows mooing. I dont mind that they wake me up early in the morning (they are louder than traffic at dawn). Willow, the trick is to look for something good even if you find it hard. Start small, find one thing, celebrate it and you will soon be moving forward.

So the sky is blue and the sun is shining what shall I do with myself today? Hmmm, first a few 15 minute bursts and then I think a local adventure is in order.

Do any of you have local adventures? I usually try to find somewhere that I havent been to yet and plan a trip. Off to do a bit of research. Have a good one everybody

Cheri - very envious of your mooing cows and baaaa-ing sheep. Nothing like that here in the 'Burbs :( We don't go on many local adventures.....with the kids we tend to take them to the places we know they like best which happen to be the park and Earlswood Lakes :D Having learned our lesson of a little boy who wants to rush round places in 10 mins and then whinges for the rest of the time we are there.......well have gone with the easy life :o Enjoy your adventure though, looking forward to hearing about it :)

So I've decided whilst feeding the boys.....

For my "50 days of Summer" challenge I am going to have one huge goal - to lose 19lbs. T so that I am going to have 3 daily things to to

    1. Stick to my "eat as many different foods as possible" meal plan
    2. Walk more every day until I am up to the 10000 steps every day limit
    3. Do the Callanetics video 25 times in 50 days

So what are your three-step plans for your "50 days of Summer" challenge?

I was going to start posting on the blog again today now that my computer is fixed - but I've had 3 PMs and 4 emails asking if I can "fill in the blanks" - so aplologies my friends if you get loads of notification emails today to get us caught up

Oh dear, that's what I usually say too:o (I think there might be an element of 'not tempting fate' - which I know is stupid) but, of course, every time you say it you hear it and it ends up how you feel.

Hi all, I've been lurking for a while, but now is the time to join in! I'm not feeling too positive at the moment, however I find all of your posts really lovely and supportive and hope I can increase my positivity by joining in!

Loving the 50 days of summer challenge and would like to pledge.

    My goals are:

    1. Lose 9lbs (I have put this back on since losing 5 stone in total, and I don't want to put any more on!) I have noticed my food choices and exercise frequency are getting worse, so need to turn it around.

I am dog sitting for my sister today, so planning on taking dog on a 4 mile walk around the local lanes to kickstart the plan this morning! I will exercise three times a week and choose to eat healthier foods.

    2. Also need to declutter, so will spend 15 minutes three times a week looking for things to rehome or recycle!

Just catching up for the week as I found it impossible to keep up any other way as life got in the way….. So here goes with the mega post!

Fantasia - Leyla is looking even more gorgeous. Sorry to hear about the COPD :( but 4 weeks smoke free really is the best thing you can have done so WELL DONE YOU!!! And I love your positivity too :)

Cricket - Well done on braving the Dr. Glad he gave you pills that will help but pah to his unsupportive attitude - talk about kicking you when you are down :( Loving the healthy eating challenge and it is so much easier at this time of year with salads and lovely yummy summer fruits around :) Laughed at the GUPpies! The away day sounded fun!

Souk - My sister lived abroad for almost 30 years & I got used to seeing her in short busts and as technology improved we had Skype which was fantastic but I love the fact that she & her OH are now home for good.

EH - Interesting story about the Dr's and weighing. In general, how many of us question what the Dr's ask us to do be it being weighed, undergoing tests or pill popping. I know I was brought up assuming they were the experts and we should do as we were told but I am much more questioning nowadays.

    Tricia - You went where????

Robsmum - MSE is fab for showing us the light wether it is costs saving or debt busting isn't it? And then look at how brill the forums are for helping each other through life's highs and lows. I love it here :)

Willow - A pass is a pass, 10 years on nobody will care about the grade. But I do understand the disappointment in not achieving your potential. And don't run away! In amid the fun stuff there is an awful lot of sense talked on here and the motivation & confidence these girls (and the odd guy) give out is priceless. Positivity will soon be flowing out of you!

MG - Pah to technical issues :( Yay to rocking the seminar & getting DS1 in to the better choice school for him :) So sorry he was upset on his last day, must have been awful watching them pack up and leave. Hind sight is a wonderful thing and yes, you should have prosecuted! FILM RIGHTS????? 6 weeks? If anyone can do it, you can!!!! But do hold out for the 6 figure advance & Aunty will have to eat her words about proper jobs :) Sooo pleased DS1 enjoys his day at the school, he seems to have impressed them too :)

Cheery - Wibbly phone calls tip. Stand up as you are making them and smile all through. It really does give you confidence :)

Claire - Instead of trying to do everything everyday could you concentrate on one room each day? That way they all get a good clean eventually. I my busiest times the kitchen and bathroom were always clean but the rest got done as and when.

Crafty - My Dr & Dentist still blame smoking for everything!

Marru - Kitty looks lovely with her white bib. The link looks interesting, will be investigating later. Flippin CAFCASS report, seems to be causing more problems than it is trying to solve and will any of it really benefit DD??? Or is it just to appease him that should be under the patio? Brilliant advice from MG, Cheri & Tricia too!! Do you know what your migraine triggers are? I can't drink fresh orange juice but can long life stuff, can eat milk choc, but not plain, can have blue cheese but small quantities of danish blue for example.

FW - I don't do camping either, my idea of slumming it is sharing a bathroom so I am with you on the spoilt wimp title!

Thrifty/Claudia - My Mum came up the Clyde on a Banana Boat!

Dorastar - Poor you and poor pupils, do they not care how their offspring are doing :( Well done for dealing with the rude man in a professional manner! Glad you are happy with next years plans :)

Bitsy - Grrr to melting tents :( Hope it is easy to fix.

Clootie - Thanks for the summary of MG, really made me smile :) Glad you have survived at work for now & battening down the hatches will be a sensible option for now. You can use any savings for nice things if they are not required for general living expenses.

Cheri - Well done on making your dream happen!!!!

Bitsy - You do a great job of supporting everyone on here, just wanted to say thanks for that! Glad the school fayre was fruitful too :)

    Callisto - Welcome :)

Daily pill takers - I always kept them on the bedside table and took it as I switched on the bedside light at bed time. The Dr argued that it was the wrong time of day but it worked for me for many years :)

Positive thoughts for those that need them and them that don't know they do :D
