It might just do Marru - if I reshape his face a little :) I object to paying £19 for him!

Woohoo - have just booked my Crimbo and birthday next year presents:j Russell Howard for Christmas (I asked the birthday fairy but he forgot) and then Sarah Millican for my birthday - well a month after but near enough. Both of them make me laugh a lot and after skimming through Tim Ferris's website - thanks whoever mentioned that one - I might as well go and enjoy them now, especially since I now have to work till I'm 67 and teacher's life expectancy if they teach past 60 is about 2 years after retirement - eek! Guess that means our pensions are not going to cost the country very much after all:eek:

Am now stupidly over excited about events in December 2011 and March 2012 - love having things to look forward too :)

Dora - that is the best prescription for keeping young. My Mums best friend 73 years young popped in yesterday as my Mum and I were planning out the summer hols for the boys. Nothing expensive, just trips here and there and free stuff .................. and she has decided to spend the summer hanging out with her Toy Boys.

So she is now going to the new Transport Museum, to see "Hairy Mclairy frae Roberstons Dairy", to the Glasgow Science Museum, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Lochore meadows for a picnic, to a kids Movie Matinee and the local Animal Park.

Her motto is "there's only now" and she grabs life with such gusto - I Love it.

Great lesson from a great teacher.

Off to have coffee in the garden with DS1 - our Sunday Morning quiet chat.

Sounds great and getting excited is not stupid. Looking forward to things is part of the enjoyment. :T:T Have you started counting sleeps yet? :rotfl:
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Thanks for the link Cheri, I love Morecombe and Wise. It also led me to watch this. Again. Man I would love to have breakfasts like this :rotfl:

Dora - Oooh I LOVE Russell Howard :D Be excited, nothing to apologise for. I am really looking forward to going to see Bryan Adams at NEC in December wooo hoooo can't wait :T

MG - I love your mums friend attitude. It's spot on :D

Sun is out here today :D Have been a bit neglectful of Frogs lately. Having completed my Learning Journals which was one of my biggest frogs I've not really pushed to get any more done BUT I've made a list of things to complete this week. Won't probably get it all done but now it's written down at least I have a reminder ;)
I think a trip to the lakes is in order if the weather stays nice :D
I need to do some tidying up in the garden, kids have got compost everywhere (they have their own tub for digging and they love to make mud pies ;))
So a day of pottering methinks. Just what we need after busy day yesterday.

Have a great day everyone :D

Yay Dora - having things to look forward to is ACE!

Cheri - fortunately there were no kids at the party last night :D Just gorgeous home cooked food (and plenty of it, and plenty of variety), including the MOST EXCELLENT dip - just whizzed up fresh garden peas and cottage cheese - wouldn't believe how gorgeous it was! Garden is beautiful too :) (however, I've never seen Madam Butterfly, and at any rate, it sounds like we both had marvellous evenings so hooray! :j :j :j :j)

2 year old nephew's birthday party today  sister has 3 kids under 5 - am armed and prepared.. :rotfl:

    And the life wins :j

No headache this morning. Getting up leasurly with the purring cat.

Came here to see wonderful clips by Morecambe and Wise. I have seen that breakfast sketch before but I was laughing aloud here. Have put it in my YouTube favourites.

DD won't be back until middayish so I have time to potter around. I am not going to stress about things I can do nothing about today. However at some point I shall put my frogs in order for tomorrow.

Going to visit fellow country woman later, we shall do some needlecraft and natter. :)

Marru - that is the best attitude to have, well done :)

Souk - you go girl, lovin' your motivation.

MG asked a couple of pages back what three steps you had to reach your goal. Mine for finally walking the road to slimness are:
    1. Drink more water. 2 ltrs is a bit of a stretch for me so baby steps am working on 1 ltr a day to start.
    2. Exercise every day. Not slogging at gym but stuff I like to do, have a dance, use the Wii and do Shred DVD.
    3. Be mindful.
Sounds achievable and if I make the effort it can be. Telling you lot will encourage me to update each day what I achieved :D
