Fab news Dora! No wonder you're
:D:D!
Willow don't force it - just try to change your thinking. Fantasia, (((( )))) and well done for one month smoke free. Glad to read you're including optimum food in your doing your best to be well and stay well - good for you and it will all pay off. You must be so pleased that the proof of the pudding in being smoke free is that you're already coping well with long hours doing a physically demanding job, and you really have sounded so much happier since you started there.
Dorastar, sounds good for next year and beyond - isn't it good to have a handle on it so you can enjoy your summer and have some mental planning space amongst the relaxation too?
Enjoy your camping FW, I hope the forecast is good (haven't seen it yet today).
Have had a lovely week off work. Had to cancel two planned events due to health blips but a lovely friend has just given me a surprise voucher for a massage - something lovely to look forward to - I've chosen next Friday to enjoy it, a fab treat and not normally in my budget (*thinks to self about FW's I am worth it budget - something to factor in once I have sold the house - the trouble with running a house solo on a part-time wage is there is no wiggle room - but there will be once I've sold*).
What ever we are aiming for - it's on its way!:)

Fantasia - even weller done for staying off the cigs - COPD - they told DH he had it because he'd had a bad case of bronchitis in 1992 & then pneumonia (that I passed to him) in 2008.......he still gets letters to go in for checks even though all the docs have tried to take it off his records - so sometimes COPD is not necessarily a diagnosis in otself, just a collection of chesty illnesses that point to it - and since you're still off the fags AND ARE STAYING OFF THEM then hopefully you shouldn't get too much in the was of chest infections now.
Great advice from CM.
Marru : I expect that you are reluctant to facilitate the contact with ‘unmentionable on an open forum’ because you are concerned for the effect on your DD? Believe me, she will be more resilient than you can imagine and when he loses interest – which he will – she will be more than capable of drawing the correct conclusions!
Just let her know that SHE is in charge of the phone call and that she will retain your approval however long or short the call is. I agree with giving her ways out “I have to go now because I have school tomorrow” or “I’ve still got homework to do.”
If it gets dicey, record the calls – lots of progs out there to do this – so you have evidence. I’m so sad that you have to do this but I didn’t have the same technology when I went through this! (((hugs)))But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -

Marru - None of the CM's I know have spaces. Have you rung Family Information Services 0800 389 8667 they should have a list of CM's who have vacancies. As for t w u n t .......MG makes very good suggestions indeed. Hugs for you honey xxx
I have found a holiday club in nearby school that is open for that week. I really hope they have vacancies left. Didin't have time to call today, will do tomorrow.
Thank you all for lovely messages. Head is still hurting. I am going to see doc tomorrow so will ask about these migraines as well. The two extra strong pills I have taken today made no difference. I still have some tablets to try but they knock me out so can't take them until DD has gone to bed.
I found the whole phone call thing so unneccessary. He sees her often enough and the other weekend we are never doing the same things at the same time or even be at home. And the solicitor hasn't called me back and I am running seriously out of time.
Tricia, good idea that recording. Will look into that.
I picked up some lovely steak for myself for tonight. I felt need for nice food (served with mushrooms and spinach) and some delicious cheeses for pud. If I could just stop feeling nauseous, might give the other tablets a go shortly.
And woohoo Cheri and Fantasia you are doing great!!!"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Just to say I'm reading and thinking of you but haven't had time to post as I've been indulging in displacement activity. So I have four presentations to prepare (they need to be at least half done before I head off as they have to be finished by the Wednesday after I get back) so have had my weekly sports massage, been waxed and been to the dentist. I have also washed most of the curtains, bagged up lots of stuff (curtains and coats) to go to the dry cleaner, hoovered the curtains that can't be washed or cleaned (3 live spiders, 1 dead) and moved lots of furniture, done lots of hoovering, floor washing and general cleaning. The only rooms that haven't been touched are the utility room, spare room and study, although there are still odds and ends in each room. I need to muck out the car so I can start packing, do the mowing and make inroads into the ironing mountain before I can leave for holiday, when I will be off grid for a week
I've taken advantage of the laptop rebooting (it's refusing to talk to the wireless) to post, but either have to get wireless working or reconnect via cable to get the first presentation handed over to someone else. Paper planning of the second one is already underway...0 -
Dorastar - oooh can I come to your class? I lived the Tudors when I did them fir my A Level history
Marru - vibes that they have vacancies. Hope head it better soon xxx
Greenbee - wow that's some displacement. Care to come and sort my hovels out? Xxx
