Bitsy - is there anyone who could come and give you a hand for a few hours over the next couple of weeks just to help you get caught up, ie spring clean a room or two with you? Once you are on top of things it will be easier to keep them that way as you are no longer playing constant catch up.

My mum will always help me but she's a bit limited at the moment as Daisy cat (her kitty) is still recovering after being hit by a car so she can't be away from home for very long as cat isn't safe to be left for very long. Plus if I am honest part of me feels like a failure because I rather stupidly believe I should be able to manage. I can't wait to get this conservatory built so I can stick all the toys etc in the there as desgnated playroom and shut the door on it. whereas at the moment cleaning round all the [STRIKE]carp[/STRIKE] important toys means any cleaning takes twice as long.

I now have a poorly little boy at home :( Poor wee soul crawled straight into bed amongst the toys he'd left there before leaving for school and has zonked out. Here's hoping DD doesn't get this too.

I did pop on to do the Wheel exercise. Honest. :o

Just done the Wheel exercise. I have 6 areas to work on :eek:
<mumbles to self......I must see this not as a challenge but a tool to improve how things are>

Nat - woo hoo I love the power of this place :D

Redquirrel - Glad you had a lovely holiday :)

You are not alone :rotfl: I'm with you in a "could do better" report card this week - but baby steps hon. Sick babies come first.

Now I am decamping and taking my toddler (the one referred to as "does his own stunts") off to the park for a picnic - and maybe send him running around it twenty or thirty times to burn of some va-va-voom :rotfl:
    FINALLY AND OFFICIALLY DEBT FREE
    Small Emergency Fund £500 / £500
    Pay off all Debts £10,000 / £10,000
    Grown Up Emergency Fund £6000 / £6000 :j
    Pension Provision £6688/£2376
  • So much fab stuff on here today :j.

(((Bitsy))) you sound so tired my lovely. What I used to do when the sleep deprivation monster hit was to set up carpet parties for my kids. I would then rest on the couch or watch mindless drivel on tv. Another idea is when oh came through the door, I would head back to bed for an hour's sleep. This stage soon passes and they turn into teenagers who rarely surface before noon .

And sick he is :eek: Just been dashing in and out to hang up the washing as he's now de-camped to the sofa, lying all over towels etc with sick bowl beside him. He woke up from his little nap and seemed better. Didn't last :( Oh well positive vibes it's one of those 24 hour thing-y's or I am gonna be broke by the end of the week. Don't work, don't get paid

Why oh why does everything seem sooooo much worse when you're tired? Is it bad of me to be wishing the years away so that we can get better sleep :o:o

Anyway 2nd load of washing hung, 3rd load put on. Cleaned bathroom (whilst DS was in bed asleep) and will now tackle the kitchen. Hi ho, hi ho it's off to work we go <whistles>............

    Sunflower's TADA list:

Yesterday: music lesson and pilates (v good for my dodgy posture - will keep this up, and take up some yoga as well).

Today: planting lettuce and onions on the allotment; should have been yesterday, but my aunt's friend visited her much later than she should have done, so it didn't happen.

Still tada for today: last bit of homework, decide which seeds to plant and plant them, buy wine for tutor, wash hair, look up marketing things.

Please prod buttocks with a foot if not done by close of play today. ;)
  • Consider buttocks gently prodded Sunflower - the sharp stick comes out in an hour :D.

Well my lovely Matrixettes, who would like to help me in my next gorgeous job.... I'm off to clean the outside of the green plastic box in our garden that pretends it's a shed, it is covered in green slime and 'orrible stuff. That's not the worst part, the neighbourhood cats have recently taken to spraying it to mark their territory :eek::eek:. Anyone got any spare lion pee :rotfl::rotfl:.

    Off I go - oh joy - yip I'm goin' - soooonnnn.....
