Bit of a blaaaah day today. Glad that I have a week to do my wheel of life exercise. At the moment thou I think I need to concentrate on just one thing: GET MY HOUSE SORTED !!!!!

I need a good nice sleep without anxious dreams and I am sure I will get my bounce back.

Hello peeps - running because we have been out all afternoon with a picnic (well the boys played and I wrote) but we have all had fresh air.

Have we heard that Nats hubbie is OK? S'funny isn't it how you can worry about people you have never met?

Think I need to to a "salady" tea as its really quite warm here - there's loads of parsley in the garden so it may end up being tabouleh which the kids adore so I will be a popular Mummy.

But first I need to go water the garden as its looking a wee bit limp and fragile.

Marru I get you on the whole "if the house is yucky so am I" thing. So important our environment - but such a struggle.

Off to find my timer and do some 15 minutes - I has to be done

My house needs sorting too, my poor bedroom looks like a bomb has hit it.

My scarf is coming along fantastic!! Mum has seen it and loves it :) I was sat knitting in the waiting room of the hospital and people were coming up and asking me how it was done and where I got the wool from

will take a picture in a minute of what it looks like

Holds hand up to being part of that group - although it is a fairly new concept to me. I used to find when working 50+ hours a week outside the home that I never "saw" our environment and never really cared about it. Now I find that as I spend almost 24/7 here my environment is one of the top priorities in my life - hence me outside cleaning a bleedin' green garden box for pete's sake :rotfl:.

Quick cuppa, then time to feed the troops.

Eta: Claire I saw a scarf like that yesterday in my local craft shop - go you

Thats lovely Claire - I am a big fan of scarves, but then thinking about it logically it does get a wee bit nippy up here.

I've blitzed the kitchen whilst cooking dinner and watering the garden (multi-tasker - moi???) So its looking lovely. I'm beginning to get a bit paranoid that you lot can "see" around the corners when I take the photos of the food and will be able to see the unwashed washing-up :rotfl:

Ironing board is now positionned in living room with a huge jug of water - so by hook or by crook the ironing IS happening tonight.

I would far rather be writing for you guys - but OMG!!! you have to make the soup I have just done for dinner. Creamy carrot and coriander for 1 (cos DS1 didn't fancy some soup tonight). 10 minutes start to finish and is gorgeous. I will go and pop the full recipe up over the blog soon as I've finished the bedtime routine.

Oops!!! Just caught sight of my bedroom - 15 minutes in there later I think.
