    Morning and Happy Easter all!

Had a lovely day out in the garden yesterday, finally got the raised veg beds put together and planted up, they look fab (even if I do say so myself lol), I'm really pleased with them, and can't wait to start harvesting! Took dd2 and dd3 plus friend to the garden centre for some compost, and the younger two played on the pirate ship and swings whilst dd2 and I looked at jacuzzis and planned which we'd buy when we win the lottery! We all enjoyed an ice cream in the sun as well.

Cooked sausage/veg burgers and garlic mash, with broccoli and onion gravy for dinner, everyone woofed it down, think we were all starving and in need of a substantial dinner! Did mean that I spent an uncomfy half hour though, full of dinner and baby was a bit of a squeeze!

Today's lunch will be roast lamb for the meat eaters and something fishy poss for dd1, and something veggie for me! ds is going to cook today, so that will be rather nice! Just realised that potato bag is empty, so wondering if there are any car boots/markets on today, will have to have an investigation, otherwise will be couscous I think!

OS stuff today has so far involved S&S the kitchen and loading the DW, and that will prob be it for indoors, WM will prob need to go on as well! Then I'm planning to do more in the garden and start to tackle all the overgrown and weedy bits - most of it really! Thought if I do one bit at a time it shouldn't be too daunting and will make it so much nicer to sit out :)

    Have a lovely day xxx

Cooled down a bit here...had a fantastic storm yesterday, hailstones the size of pound coins! ripped my garden to shreds ,huge holes in the rhubarb leaves and cut up my new flowers:eek:. We rescued a little cat who got stuck in it bless her, she jumped in through our kitchen door. Pics of all this on FB;)
Having roast chicken today which DH says he will make.
Have to go and do my easter bunny thing soon for DS coming back at 12.
I drop little eggs in a trail to the big ones and DS thinks they have fallen from a hole in bunnys pocket:T
Back to work on Tues just for a day, has been fab forgetting about that place and cant wait to get away from it for good.

BB gorgeous chicks. Sorry about DH job....that is unfair

Good Morning & Happy Easter All

What a beautiful Easter Sunday :)

BB - sorry to hear your news but the chicks are lovely.

Had a good day yesterday, got all my ironing done before the main heat of the day and the kitchen windows washed at the end of the day. Took DS swimming then we all had a lovely barbecue. Friends came round after & had a late night hence the slow start this morning.

Today's plans are - get dressed :o then make a picnic mid morning and head off to the beach. The beach we are doing to isn't the best beach but its the closed and quietest.

Will sort some stuff out for another barbecue tonight - this is what bank holidays are made for :rotfl:

    Enjoy whatever you are doing.x

Just caught up with yesterdays thread, gosh what you lot get up to with smashed windscreens and Lidl Managers:eek: hope your feeling better today.

BB sorry the job wasn't what you had hoped.
Rosie keep an eye on that leg

Its rained overnight here and still overcast, but will keep an eye out as I was hoping to wash some big towels and peg them out.

Hope everyone enjoys their lunch today. My DH is working so the plan is to cook a large piece of gammon in coke and then we will have this with salad when he gets home. 2 problems, 1 I didn't realise it was smoked:( and 2 forgot to pull it out of the freezer. So its now in the microwave defrosting and will cook it anyway. How organised am I :rotfl:

So will do some baking as well today and try to avoid chocolate but will probably:EasterBun
    Have a good day all J x

BB your chicks are soooo cute! My kids cooed over them too.

JackieO, sounds like you have a nice day planned. Enjoy your dinner. Been so long since I have had dinner cooked for me.

Thanks guys for the advice about my leg. It would happen on a BH weekend too. typical. I will go to the walk in centre maybe later if it is getting any worse. Because I have drawn around it I can easily see if it is spreading.

Lamewolf - hope you're planning a day of resting today, and I hope that your front garden looks lovely as a tiny compensation xx

Ullypool - enjoy your trolley of food, and I would write a letter of complaint, tis all very well being apologetic afterwards, but he should really have had a look at the CCTV first and explained what he was doing before starting searches!

BB - sorry about the job, no wonder some employers can't find people when they advertise incorrectly, though if they'd put the truth I suspect that they may not have had too many applicants!

Rosie - get thee to the docs, I had a bite that spread and had to have an injection and antib's, developed a funny limp for a while and got stopped by one of those accident/claim bods on the street asking if I'd like to speak to someone about compensation lol!

JackieO - have a lovely day with your family. In my ideal world you and Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall would adopt me ;)

NPM - if that hale hits here I shall be making the kids stand holding brollies over my new veg beds lol!

It was sunny here but it has clouded over, typical! DD off to work in a mo, washing nearly finished, DW emptied and ironing done. No swimming this morning, AF visiting AGAIN - have had 7 now since the end of January and that's with the merina, thought it was meant to make things a bit easier!

Going to change the furniture round in the big living room so that it's easier to get out of the doors to the deck, always turn it round in the winter so I can't see the bad weather! It will get a good clean too.

Off to friends for dinner tonight, hope you all have a good Easter Sunday, BB those chicks are sooo cute! Take care XX

When did you get it fitted ? took mine a good 8 months to settle, very rarely get a visit from AF now, and its always very light, lasts a day or so.

    Morning and Happy Easter :T

Beautiful day here again, cant believe how lucky we have been with the weather, got my bedding in the wm, will get it hung out and dd's in soon.

Yesterday was a lovely day, we packed a picnic and drove out till we found a spot we liked by a river, and spent the afternoon, laying in the sun, reading, eating, and watching the wild life, it was such a nice day, and so relaxing.

This morning OH has gone to the boot sale, will get the washing out and hoover through, then have a wander around the afternoon bootie, will take little dog out early evening, (more rabbits to chase :D)

Dinner tonight is prawn salad, with some hard boiled eggs, and crushed garlic new potatoes, might do a buffet type in the garden.

Going to be a shock going back to work next week :o at least its a short week.

    BB love the chicks :T

Radio is up to £112 on Ebay :T, finished tonight.

    Have good days all xx

Redruby had it fitted the end of January. They seem to go on for ever too and the sore boobs are making it quite awful. Will stick it out for another couple of months and if it doesn't settle will have to think about something else!

    Morning all

    Bitsy - good night out?

:easter: Happy Easter everyone. Not a single bit of chocolate will be eaten by me though :( I will stick to my diet! Although I do have 9 Easter eggs sitting in my spare room :rotfl: but they are for my work kids not me.

Very pleased to have a mini lie in today til 8.30 :), just been reading in bed since.

It's another glorious day, and whilst I should do uni work, I am going to sunbathe on my balcony instead :D. I only get the sun til 1pm-ish so I'll do uni work later today. No other plans for the day.

OS wise - didn't get round to putting laundry away yday so need to do that today, kitchen needs wipe and could do with a hoover throughout, but both can wait til tomorrow if needs be! :o I fancy stuffed peppers today so may well make those later.

Have a fab day all, don't eat too much choccy! :EasterBun
