The first time i wore them they dyed the foot area of my tights bright orange, I have since washed the tights and the colour will not come out. I thought that wearing the shoes once might seal the colour in and tried wearing them again, this time they dyed my feet bright orange and it took a lot of scrubbing to get the colour off. I tried to return these shoes as I considered them to be faulty and not fit for purpose (I don't want to destroy a pair of tights and dye my feed every time i wear them!). The shop manager explained that it was standard for dyed leather to do this (I have had lots of leather shoes before and never experienced this) and she did not consider it to be a manufacturing fault and refused to refund them. I asked for an address to write to complain to (she gave me a phone number that was wrong!)When you pay £68 for shoes you don't expect them to be such poor quality. Do you think it is worth complaining further? Should i be able to get a refund[/font]
A few close-up shots of your feet would be helpful. Especially of your toes, please, Emma.0 -

complaint letter. front line @ places like office always fob u off with 'theres nothing wrong, no refund'. persevere with a letter complaint and eventually you'll get a refund.0

Dyed goods are often not colour-fast.
You are seriously claiming you have never had shoes colour your tights before? Either a) you never go out in the rain or b) you only wear black shoes with black tights etc. Chalk it down to experience and in future save the Wolfords for a well-worn and trusted pair.
I would also suggest you never purchase a pair of denim jeans.
Sounds like you only buy cheap goods if this keeps happening to you KimYeovil. Perhaps you should aim for better quality next time you go shopping.0 -

My first pair of Classic Uggs still dye my feet black to this day. Bought from Office for £200 so hardly something that is just attributed to 'cheap goods'.0 -
You could always post your complaint on their FB page if you get no joy on the phone

Often that gets better results
Good luck x
PS No I've never had dyed feet from wearing shoes before either xThrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

You failed.
Wow. Someone needs to lighten up a little0 -
