Extreme couponing - is it possible?

Okay so not to the extreme like the people on the TV show but is it possible even on a small scale in the UK?
Supermarkets don't do the instore offers like in the states - doubling coupons/vouchers etc and I'm sure you can only use 1 offer per product.
It would be nice to think you could reduce your weekly/monthly shop to almost nothing.
Wheres the best place to look for offers?

I think Tesco have stopped accepting vouchers now unless you have actually bought the product (it used to be the case before that as long as they sold the product they would accept it.) When they did I worked with someone that managed to get a £70 shop for about £16 once.
My control freak ex boss would nearly burst a blood vessel at the thought that people would be using vouchers for money off our product without actually buying it, 'twas little things like that which got me through the dayMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
As this has dropped down the board, i've moved it to the Shopping and groceries board
ZipA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I love coupons! When I lived in the USA I was quite a canny shopper: using coupons on special offers in supermarkets was my favourite.Growing old disgracefully!0

a few years back it was great, when MR T and MR A were trying to out do each other with coupons... I used to love coupon bashing.. but sadly those days are over..
now its the price check that gets my adrenalin going...lol...Work to live= not live to work0 -
Some people are saying the extreme couponing shown on the program wasn't even possible in the States without one of the participants committing fraud:

i'm a member in a few american websites and they seems to use coupons for everythign and the stores even have double coupon days and things. i've heard of memebers handing over huge piles of coupons and getting nearly all there food for free.
the last time i used a coupon was for 4 nappies. i'd only bought about 6 items and the cashier wouldn't take it until she checked the packed i bought was the same as the coupon picture !!0 -
Are those sites like Myvouchercodes any good? It seems like most of the offers are only for buying stuff online and i dont have a CC. Are there any decent sites for students to get coupons for food and what not?I'm not normally a religious man, but... if you're up there, save me, Superman!0
