Just thought that I'd send you a ((hug)) its horrible rowing with OH when your feeling fragile. Just remember that just as you didnt know what early pregnancy feels like afew weeks ago, then your OH will never experience it.

Hi Valentine x, Joannasmum has it spot on and I can remember the worst parts of my first pregnancy were the tiredness and the rowing with OH. Hugs to you and I hope that soon the tiredness starts to lift for you.

I WILL TIDY EVERY INCH OF MY KITCHEN FROM TOP TO BOTTOM TODAY.

Sorry for shouting but if I do this and decide to sneak back onto os today, it will make me feel guilty and get back to work...

Had a lovely day helping at ds's school yesterday and evening with his friend. I am off to scour the threads for a recipe for minestrone and to see if I can use one of my bargain gammon hocks in it.

    Have a good day everyone.

    :)

Sun is shining, I have a load of washing in so will put it on the line for a blow. OH managed to knock over a full cup of tea all over my bedsie table yesterday, so rummaged round and found a load, hope the tea has come out of the carpet, have not had a good look yet!!!

OH just gone out for an hour, he has stayed in with me all week, apart from quick nips to the post office round the corner, as I feel so much better decided he needed some him time for being such a treasure..............

Need to get pork out of the freezer for tomorrows supper, and sort out something for tonight, I did buy a couple of quiches and a pizza from Mr T, do not normally buy anything like that, but needed something as a back up for OH 'just in case'.

Right off for a :coffee: (tea)

    Have a good un...................

Welcome and congrats to Toria27
Good Luck to MinnieSpender - you can do it:j
Queenie - fingers x'd its not too pricey but then youve got good friends who are priceless.

Weather is horrendos (sp) but DD still gone to the stables and DS still gone to football training. Have peace and quiet day today as DD not home till 3.30 and DS going round friends after football till who knows when.

I would love to sit down with a good book for most of the day and chill but no - plan is - hoover, swish bathrooms, keep feeding wm and do all ironing - at least that can be done in front of the telly.

Just having a quick surf on here whilst finishing my toast - white bread as its the weekend - v bad - then will make a start.

    Have a great Saturday.

PS Glad Matt won last night but was shocked it wasnt Jason
PPS HM cheeseburgers and french fries for tea.

    Thanks Essex-girl!

Very proud - the hob is now shiny and bright. I can see my face in it and everything.

However, I will refrain from applying my lipstick using the cooker as a makeshift mirror and return to tackle...

    Morning all

So many people I want to send hugs to this morning.

Queenie. Good luck with the car. I'm hoping it is nothing major but nothing to do with the gearbox is ever cheap. Have you checked your clutch fluid levels?

Aussielass. I commiserate with you over your ring. I have lost my engagement from DH and I haven't dared tell him yet :(

Lillibet Spud will be fine! You deserve some me time and definitely for George Michael.

toria - just plain hugs for you as you need them.

We went to the Goodwill Evening last night but it wasn't as good as previous years and there were too many screaming teenagers. Why do girls scream at such an annoying pitch? DH started looking bored so I suggested we went home, when we got back to the car it turned out he was only hungry so I suggested we picked up a takeaway on the way home, instead he opted for a sitdown meal in an indian restaurant which the kids didn't enjoy, didn't eat and it cost us £46 for the privilege so I am not very happy with him this morning.

  • Oooh! I found a very old can of Mr Muscle oven cleaner at the back of the cupboard! (And to think that I considered eBaying it a while back...) Not very Old Style (shoot me) but very DFW NOT to throw it away and use it up instead.

I'm waiting the required 30 minutes as I type. And refuelling with coffee. Shouldn't be a big job - thank Morrissey that I don't eat meat!

    Hi everyone :hello:

Lillibet - you enjoy your weekend away. It is strange the first time you leave them - mine was the Blackpool meet in May and DS1 was 7!! Hope your hotel is better than the one me n Nels had last weekend too :rotfl:

Minniespender - go for it girl. You'll feel so much better once it's done and call it a pre-xmas workout :D:D

((hugs)) to everyone else too. Aussie - that's terrible about your eternity ring. I hope you get it fixed.

I've got the start of a sore throat today but we've decided (well, I have decided and told the boys :D) tat today we are going to do some sort of bedroom de-cluttering or Santa won't have room to bring pressies :p Other than that, I shall do some bits and pieces. It's sunny ATM so will get some laundry on soon.

Nearly finished all my pressie wrapping. I've still "lost" a couple so I'll have to have a hunt today. I won't be putting my decorations up until the week before xmas. Although I love them, I'd quite happily take them down on boxing day, cos I can't clean properly :o The tree also takes up half the room :D It was a fab purchase last year, a few days before xmas - reduced to £24 from about £90 and it's HUGE.

Right, I'll love ya and leave ya. Need a lozenge for this throat and must get the WM on.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :santa2: Morning!

Having a lovely time unpacking the goodies OH bought back from the booze run yesterday. some of the wine will be presents for folk but still a fair bit for our own use :T lovely wine that we wouldn't be able to afford over here, also some lovely lindt chocs which I will have to hide if they are to make it to Christmas!;)

Friends bought me back a pressie, a lovely artifical plant (best kind for me:D ) it is beautifully wrapped around the pot with gold lace patterned paper and gold ribbon so this will be the Christmas dec to go out on day 2 (1 a day through December).

Have all the ingredients in for making the mincemeat and plenty of pots so no excuse now! Also have to take some bits back to tk maxx today and pick up some small stocking fillers.

    have a lovely day!

    Hi everyone!
Shhh ....techinically I've popped up to my parents to drop off some bits from Lidl my Mum wanted but they're out shopping so I've snuck on here and I've got loads I should be doing at home:rotfl: :rotfl: Just as well I don't do guilt anymore!!
As you've probably gathered by 10.30 I'd spent £100 at Lidl [it is the quarterly shop] and then spent a further £30 at Tesco. Thank goodness OH helped me put it all away...our poor little Punto was groaning under the weight of it all!! Anyway I've now got all the Chrimbo snacky bits and the alcohol all bar a bottle [or two!!] of vino for mulled wine.
OS wise I've done a dark load and I hope to get some baking done this afternoon before squiding my ample rump into a chair and settling down to watch Strictly Come Dancing [and maybe Take That but I'm not admitting to that OK:D :D ]
Tomorrow we're off to a local garden centre which has the most amazing decorations and they're always displayed fantastically. It's an absolute feast for the eyes.
Have a great weekend..off home now to get some chores done!!
