Perhaps the reason that there are so many "one post wonders" as you call them is down to posts like yours and some others on here. Like I said it costs nothing to be nice and frankly more people would contribute and be better informed if they weren't mocked for doing so.

there was nothing wrong with my post except it agreed with what everyone else said in that it wasnt discrimination

please tell me what was wrong with my post  so i dont make the same error again

alot of 1 post wonders will start a thread and wont come back or will post in a thread and no sign of them again so they done return due to the response,

Products of different colours are always being sold at different prices and sadly, there are people who are dumb enough that they won't buy their daughter a pink bike if it's not marked as being for a girl, and parents who won't buy their son a colour that might be unisex unless it's marked as being for a boy.

Parents are so hung up on gender tropes that many will pay above the odds to make sure their child is pidgeonholed into the correct gender.

OP, if you're NOT one of those parents, just buy the cheaper bike, who cares if it's in pastel shades, vibrant neon or matte black, if it's the same bike?

There is no more discrimination than a versace jumper being sold for more than a George jumper. If you were denied a deal because of gender, that's one thing, but YOU are making the conscious choice to buy one over the other.

Yes, but we just need to emphasise how completely mental the situation is should future posters consider such action.

Maybe I could complain to music stores as we've always paid much more for my son to have a left-handed guitar...obvious discrimination against left-handers who are already going to die younger!!

"Nine people have been arrested and eight police officers hurt after violent clashes in Bristol sparked by a raid on opponents of a new Tesco store."

"Eyewitnesses said police fought running battles with hundreds of protesters, who threw bricks and bottles at them."

"There were people chanting, it felt really good. We don't want Tesco here."

"Another man who lives nearby, who did not want to be named, said: "it all kicked off when the crowd realised that girls bikes cost more than boys bikes"

"It turned into a running battle for about two hours"
    "Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Very strange to think that some folks actually can't see anything wrong with different prices for exactly the same product.

Not really. Take JLS condoms for example. A completely stupid idea and when they're getting near the end of the amount that were made the more ugly ones will obviously have to have their price reduced to get rid of them.

The website however clearly makes the distinction between boys and girls products both in store and the comparison on the website blatantly emphasises the gender difference.

I took a print out of the website as I'm minded to involve trading standards. If they had sold it as a unisex product of differing colours, I'd still have thought that unfair but they chose to bring gender into it.
Are you sure that the female version does not have a differently shaped saddle to prevent girls from falling off?
