Yep but it's a named car.

as i said, just like any car policy

and I guess that's group 16 on the 1-50 scale rather than the old 1-20 range

Just curious why the instructor wants your daughter too use your car, Does she get lessons cheaper or is it just to get her used to it for when she passes her test?

sorry for not being clear instructor wants her to practice in our car, she will still have 1 lesson a week in the instructors car aswell.

He's advised that shes now at a level where she needs to drive for longer than 1 hr per week.

and good advice it is ,he could of course have said 'it's ok i will let her have a 2/3 hour slot to practice' and of course charge accordingly

Have now taken out a 5month provisional policy on the corolla for a cost of £280, Marmalade insurance cost the same for a 3 month policy.

I used these people. Main difference I can see is that if the learner driver passes test before the inurance runs out then the remaining insurance will not be refunded. For marmalade policy it will be refunded or can be converted into next policy.
