When did you delete those entertainment packs Dave? Was it after one month like they are offering me? Or was it after a year?0

Do you know how much the cancellation fee would be Steve?
What do you think my options are now? What broadband package would you suggest? Could I try and negotiate with BE?
cancellation fees are here

The Tv deal with Sky looks great to me especially for sports inc.
Why do you think you'll only get 5Mb with Sky?Is that what you were getting with BE,what do they estimate on the Sky checker for your phone number?
If you're sure theres no contract for calls with BT I would suggest The Sky deal but keeping rental with BT(makes it easier to change ISP later) providing Sky have there own LLU kit in your exchange with spare capacity. You will find this out if the checker offers Unlimited or everyday lite,if it only offers Connect forget it and go back to start.0 -
Yeah when I did the check with Sky it said the maximum I would get is 5mb, which is not the best.
I'm not sure if there is a countract with BT on calls. Would I just have to phone them to ask if I have? Forgive me for being thick but what is an LLU kit? Sky did offer me Unlimited broadband0 -
I spoke to BE and they weren't giving me much of a deal. I'd have to pay a £24 fee for reconnecting with them and they'd give me half price broadband for 6 months. Usual price is £14.08 a month. Overall it would cost around £22 a month which includes the BT line rental every month. So not much of a good deal really.
The SKY deal is looking pretty good at the moment. Do you guys think I can squeeze more out of them? Am I right in thinking too that if I was to cancel with BT altogether they would charge me £2.50 for the remainder of the contract? That's if I understand the table link above.0
