I'm off alcohol and chocolate for Lent
I'm even going to see a mate's band (Rainband, supporting Simple Minds in Delamere Forest) and club night tomorrow - fortunately once midnight arrives :rotfl:
Haven't done a great deal today - not even read this thread properly - although I did manage to remember to set the recorder for Make Do and Mend. I think from the warning rumblings my back/tummy/gall bladder scar pain is gearing up for a major wobbler. So I am off to bed as soon as I've typed this. Did manage to register my oppostion to the proposed change in the Allotment Duty of Burden provision required by local councils though (via Landshare website)..... I do like a nice politcal rant :rotfl:Up the Workers! etc etc :rotfl:
Didn't even do a HM dinner so I don't know what OH had as he was in and out when I was in bed first time 'round. Hoping for it to be better tomorrow.....don't really want to go to the GPs and with all the other meds they'll (a) be limited and (b) just suggest a scan (which as usual will show no stones in the remaining bile duct etc)....just one of those people who are left with it I guess....
Well that's it. Hopefully tomorrow's meal plans are: Breakfast porridge with pear compote, lunch some sort of sandwich and dinner will be veggie pasta bake as I have some courgettes need eating up and it's the only way I can get them into OH LOL!
and I must jar up the apple and tomato sauce from the big tubs in the fridge as well....
Right bed! Hope everyone has a nice Easter if I'm not on much. Tomorrow OH is sorting out the hedges and going up to the other house to sort out the kitchen units before the handyman on Sat. We were going to be putting a new fence up with the people next door at the other house on Sat (the 100 years+ wall collapsed inbetween Christmas and New Year and I sorted it out and paid the £400 for it to be cleared, made safe, backs to be made secure etc. They said they owe us £200 but they seem to have "forgot" as they said the fencing will cost us £150 to OH. I told him he should have said "so that's only £50 you owe us. Won't see that methinks and we have prompted them before....) but they want to put it back a week....then OH is off until a week on Monday :j I was going to suggest Chester Zoo next week but I didn't realise it's £17 each plus petrol  - might be a picnic at Lytham/any local NT property we haven't visited instead...But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. I would love to have a drinky too but despite having 2 crates of beer and 6+ bottles of wine in the flat, none of the blooming stuff is cold :rotfl: so can't have a drink
. I could put something in fridge now but I'll be heading to bed in an hour or so so it prob won't even be cold. I'll have a choc mousse instead :rotfl:
Very pleased as I have written 2 lesson plans tonight so I've now done all the ones I need to do for my teaching file :j:j. They will need a little tweaking, and some resources typed up but that's easy to do!
Bit annoyed as I just looked out the window over the dock to see that all the teens/kids/families who were frolicking there earlier have left lots of rubbish strewn all over the grass  I despise littering.

This is a gig of their own - sold out, only got tickets beacuse I know them (such a celeb me....:D). NO they're going to be suppporting SM in Delamere in July? Somewhere Macclesfield way. I haven't got tickets - yet
I reside just outside Marvellous Mancunia and although we normally go to Llandudno that's a bit far and I'm not keen on Blackpool so we'll probably go to Lytham or Southport... £17 a ticket  Still can't get over that. I can see The Bolshoi Symphony Orhcestra in Manchester for a tenner!!! But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green

Staggers in very late, just on my third Cinzano and lemonade hic:beer:
Just don't know where the day has gone, the kids holidays always throw out my routine. Finally got my car back today and £1300 pounds lighter. nmlc I feel your pain.
Just had a flying visit from my brother with a bunch of daffs to cheer me up and our friends also called to show off their new car, so been a mad house for the last couple of hrs.
We are just settling down to an hour in front of the tv. We seem to be getting more and more time to ourselves lately after 25yrs its about time.
Will take DS3 into town tomorrow and out for lunch as we haven't ventured far with no car this wk. Will also pop into the art gallery, its free and one of our favourite places.
Have a good evening all staggers off:rotfl:Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Just a quick post as I don't have the internet for long.
((((hugs)))) for all those that need them and congratulations for those that need that and <<<<good luck vibes>>>> for those that need them.
Having a fantastic time here. Spent yesterday on the beach, we hired a beach hut for the day and it made a really good base for us. DH and eldest spent most of the day surfing. Littlies and I spent the day digging and making trenches and castles etc, jumping waves, rock pooling, splashing, watching the waves and lots of other fun stuff. We bought a picnic with us and made up sandwiches from fresh bread and butter and chose what we wanted on them from meats, cheeses and various spreads. Then we had fruit etc. We had take out for tea
but it was a nice treat.
Today we had a day at the campsite and the brood have played in the great childrens playpark just across from us while I went to the on site launderette and sat quitely in the sunshine while waiting for the wash and DH kept an eye on the brood and did a bit of work for work. Then we went to the pool here and I sat on the lounger and sunbathed while the brood swam and played, DC3 crashed out on the sun lounger next to me so I had to cover him in towels to stop him getting burnt.. We then sat out and had a lovely chilli with sour cream and tortillas and the kids played games around the tent, before it got to chilly to sit out and we went inside to play trembling towers.
Will be visiting an animal sanctuary tomorrow.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
