    Wrong wrt PPC existing.

Wrong...they have a right to try to charge for parking and then to try to enforce breach of contract for non-payers.

BTW who defines 'reasonable' in your world??

I would say the cost put on this thread is very reasonable for parking!

Now stop advising people to abuse others land by not paying, yet again you are giving the wrong advice on this forum!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

I was merely advising this particular OP to not pay this particular company which either couldn't be bother to get the signage correct or was deliberately making it all very vague to trap parkers...hence my advice.

It's only as difficult as the OP wants to make it. Finchley Central has a staffed Ticket Office, as well as Ticket Barriers, meaning there's an abundance of staff on hand to offer advice.
