The harddrive is actually 500Mb, however only 250Mb is available to you for personal storage. The rest of the disk is used for Anytime overnight downloads.
The telephone lead just plugs in, it has a little plastic tab underneath, give it a squeeze and the plug will release. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I installed my sky+hd yesterday and it went ok. It is very tight at the rear, the cables connections on the tompson used to be vertical but on this one, they are horizontal which should not be a problem but I have got a big metal like splitter (do not know the name)with two rf aerails on both side. Will need to post a photo as I cannot explain it well. For some reason, I cannot watch sky upstairs in my bedroom, I have a link which enable me to watch sky if it is switched on downstairs. Also the video recorder is playing but nothing is showing on the tv. Pl can anybody help? Is it because of the sky+hd, the sky link is not working and for the video recorder, do I need to do something to make it work? Thanks0

To make your TV link work you have to enable the RF2 output and 5volt supply for the magic eye. Its part of the install menu.
You may need to retune your bedroom TV as well.
Video recorder? I'd connect it directly to the TV via scart. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Thanks, it is not a magic eye I have got. I do not know what the engineer did years ago, I paid him to put a link so that I can watch sky and video in my bedroom when it is switched on downstairs. I have already enabled RF. I just want to make sure that it is not sky+hd who is at fault, it must be the connections. DVD player works fine. DVD recorder is already connected using scart. I guess, I will have to remove all the connections and connect again, I do not want to do that as space are very tight and I might cause more damage to the aerials.0
