Looks interesting. Something to watch out for (from the T&C's):4.Tax will be payable on your matched payment on the same basis as the interest on your nominated savings account. For example, if you currently receive interest net (after the deduction of income tax) on your nominated savings account and the amount to be matched is £10 you will receive £8 in matched funds.
So, unless you're a registered non-taxpayer you won't get the full £100 bonus. But still, free money.0 -
so, do you have a copy of the full Ts & Cs for us to see?0

Looks as though you need to deposit a minimum £250 to open the Online Saver. Which you can withdraw again straight away, obviously, but a better option if you're short of cash might be to open a Guaranteed Tracker account, with a minimum deposit of £1. This isn't on the list of accounts which don't qualify, but to be on the safe side, could one of the Lloyds employees here kindly confirm that this account would be eligible for the scheme?

Can anyone confirm if I can nominate my DS's Young Savers Account to put the "change" into. It's at 4.75% and he'll get the match money tax free (he's only 6!).
There's nothing to say I can or can't do this on their website.
If I can, then its a goer from me.Back on the DFW Wagon:

you are correct there is no mention of this particular product on the site, the chances are when you set it up for the "change" to goto this account the bank are depending upon someone to check indicators of the account this is something thats missed out quite often. (sssh dont tell anyone):rotfl:

It raises the interesting possibility of asking a shop to charge you a bit more than the till says, just to push you over into the next pound!
Then again, it's probably not much different from what I did at Tesco today: I ran back and picked up a couple of bottles of wine to push the bill over £70 so I could use a £7 off voucher. The wine effectively came free. In fact, with the 25% off, they probably paid me to take it away. Now, that I like.0 -
My current thoughts on this are on the DFW board but I'd say the easy way was to put £3.01 worth of petrol in the car on the way to work each day as a starter. Minimum delivery at petrol stations should be 3 litres but some might be 5, that said I don't think petrol station staff care.

Supposedly the only thing that you can't pay into are ISA accounts and CTF's, as their are tax implications.
