Hello Everyone,
I am in need of some free legal advice relating an issued with my landlord. As the problem is quite a long story, I would like to ask for legal advice by email so that I can explain all the details at once and don't forget anything that I have to say. However, I just can't find anywhere to ask for advice by email. Does anyone know who I can contact by email regarding this?
Many thanks.

Some CAB groups have email contacts, and many sols will give basic advice by email. However, if you want anything in depth they are likely to charge.Gone ... or have I?0

Or, sometimes you can find a solicitor who'll give you a free half hour, write it all down first, then read it out, or use it to prompt your memory."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Have you tried Asking on the House Buying, Renting & Selling Board?
There are many landlords on that forum board who could offer advice.“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
Thank you all for your replies. I'll try now the other board as well.
If anyone has anymore info that they think might be useful, please let me know.

If you want specific, not general advice, pay for a lawyer. You may get good general advice, but if it is anything complicated you need someone who you can take real advice from.0

Hi,
To save possible confusion due to duplication of threads I'll move this post across to join the other one.Forum_Team wrote:

You can use this form - http://tenancyanswers.ucoz.com/index/0-3 for advice regarding rental property in England/Wales0

If you have contents insurance check and you may find you have legal assistance already. I double checked when I renewed if it included LL/T disputes and was assured it did (although I do have great LLs now). A few questions later I found that I was also covered when I had massive problems 3 years ago but didn't realise so didn't use it *rollseyes*.Inside this body lays one of a skinny woman

When I thank a post in a thread I've not posted in,
it means that I agree with that post and have nothing further to add.

if you live in Wales you can email shelter cymru's legal advice by email service on sheltercymru.org.uk0

Or just use Shelter's central site if not in Wales. They reply fairly speedily.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break
