Quick questions on Consumer Rights

Hi sorry no idea what I’m doing?🙈 my query is I purchased items off Homebase, the items come direct from a supplier. On arrival there invoice including tax was £38.18 cheaper that what I had been charged from Homebase. Can Homebase do that? Do I have any rights to ask Homebase to refund the difference?squeaky said:Hi,
If you have a query that you think will only need a quick yes or no answer then feel free to ask it here.
Otherwise you are very welcome to start a new thread.
Whatever you decide... good luck
Thanks
pa the suppler said Homebase owe me a refund 🤷🏽♀️0 -

pa the suppler said Homebase owe me a refund 🤷🏽♀️Nope. You paid the price you was happy with.If it's a distance sale, ie you purchased on the internet as a consumer you potentially have the right to return within 14 days for a refund. You could do that and then purchase direct from the supplier.1 -
Any idea what a judge would opine given distance selling cooling off regulations?
Item purchase was cancelled by notifying vendor within an hour
PayPal notified within 24hours to withhold payment
Package despatched day after appeal sent to PayPal
PayPal decline my appeal with no explanations other than saying based on vendor response (which I'm not provided visibility of).
Seems blatant flouting of Consumer Rights to cancel order.

Who are you going to sue that a judge needs to make a decision on?PotentialEnergy said:Any idea what a judge would opine given distance selling cooling off regulations?

Your query has been moved to its own thread, but unhelpfully nobody from the site team has bothered to make that clear here...PotentialEnergy said:Any idea what a judge would opine given distance selling cooling off regulations?
