Got my code through via email last night and have just placed my order. Just as an additional note, you also get 100 minutes and unlimites texts as the galaxy has these capabilities, which is VERY handy as I have blackberry with an AWFUL battery life, so it'll be good to have as a back up phone!

You also have to pay a £5 delivery charge which is added to your first bill bringing it in at £20. Because of the bank holiday weekend, the earliest delivery is tuesday. Mine will be with me between 9am and 12 on tuesday. I am so excited!! haha

Weird. I phone for mine at 9am and wasn't told anything about delivery charge or free minutes or texts. Was told it would be here Saturday by Royal Mail!

I called at 8:40 this morning, order placed fine for Saturday delivery which will cost only £2.99 which will be added to my first bill.

I was told by the rep that you get 100 mins and 100 texts as part of the tariff and you get a free T-Mobile Tariff booster of either unlimited texts, 100 T-mobile minutes or 100 landline minutes. The booster can be changed every month.

Totally simple process - great deal, even the rep mentioned it's a very good deal vs their current RRP/contract prices.

Weird! Ah well, its only a fiver and I can wait til tues (am out all weekend so would be able to enjoy it!) when I'm back at work!

ETA: Maybe it was only the first lot that got RM delivery? The girl I spoke to was so lovely, really helpful. Said she had been at work for just over an hour and I was the 6th person that she had dealt with that was redeeming this offer! Also confirmed how good a deal it is. Very impressed, just hope it lives up to expectations!!

Will be interested to see if I get charged delivery, I was expecting it but it was never mentioned. The 100 minutes would be good though although would you not look like a right numpty holding that big thing up to your ear ;-)
  • According to the T-Mobile website, you get a standard headset in the box, so I wonder if that has a mic in it? If so, then you'll just look like a numpty talking to themselves rather than a numpty with a tablet to the side of their face!! haha
  • That made me laugh! I think maybe I need to look at the website!
  • Hi :) I bought the voucher as well but didn't find the instructions very helpful. Where on the Tmobile website do I enter my code? Thanks for the help.
  • You have to call them on 0800 8563055 and then press 1 and 1 again. Just say you are redeeming the groupon galaxy tab offer and they will ask for your groupon code.

I think you need to check your maths. £375-£299=£76 not £175 as you stated which is only £76/24 = £3.17 per month. And anyway as far as I can see the £299 figure is for the wifi only model, (no sim card slot). The 3g model is £372.50 on Amazon with no data plan which effectively means the groupon deal is giving you a 24 month data plan for £2.50 or 10p per month!! plus free credit to buy the Tab. You can still cancel the plan at the end of the 24 months and use it wifi only.

I've just found this for anyone who doesn't wan't T-mobile or won't use 3G that much:

    http://shop.o2.co.uk/promo/samsunggalaxytab

£299 for the tablet with an o2 sim card on pay as you go (you can apparently swap out for a giff gaff one though), if you will use the 3g go with the t-mobile deal but for anyone seeing this after the groupon deal finishes this is a good deal. It seems daft not to pay the same as the wifi only one and have the 3g slot if you need or want it, albeit locked to o2 based networks

Just ordered mine. I thought it would take ages to come so didn't go for the offer. But having read that some of you are getting deliveries on Saturday I decided to take the plunge.
