Happy Birthday LameWolf darling, hope its a great day for you. xxxx
I am really tired, did not sleep well at all last night, for worrying about DSIS and DBIL. I am going to see him tonight before his op tomorrow, hopefully he will be well rested after being moved today. OS is HM soup for the boys, and I may push the vaccuum around.
Hugs spoons and hi fives all round.
HH go for it!
Reverbe, I agree with Rosie and Floss.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I have turned down the offer of appearing on the show, I cannot imagine anything worse, I'm another one with a face made for radio!
Hugs Hester

Thanks Ladies I have taken your advice. I try to be polite and give everyone the benefit of the doubt but just after I got back from Tescos I find a nasty toned fb email where she has apparently mistaken one of my wall posts to be about her. MY FB privacy settings are friends only can see my profile, status and wall posts so something odd is going on there anyway.
I emailed her back an excuse me ?? type email correcting her mistake and got another nasty one back. Not only that she has gone on the bands fan page and slagged me off there too which violates the hate language t&c on Facebook so has been reported.
When I think how close I was to accepting when I have a lot of for want of a better encompassing term.. known figures as both IRL personal friends and FB friends,I am grateful I didnt..:eek:What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -
Hello everybody  and hugs to all those in need and a Happy Birthday shout to Lamewolf. Today has not quite gone as planned. I had two lovely days off and was all nice and relaxed and ready to crack on working, then my back/tummy pain kicked in, I'm utterly roasting on my face and yet shivering. I'm sat with a cardigan on and it's 20 degrees! This is not right. Plus I'm a bit fed up today about the IVF stuff - this "last chance ever, we think you're wasting your money" is getting to me a bit....:( not to mention I'm on that many supplements as well that I might rattle if I ran for a bus ...... On the good side OH has got a driving job tonight - he is providing the world of luvvie-ness with his "getaway driver" for a student film about bank robbers.....in a white jag......it's obviously set in the 80s....:rotfl:This does however mean that I have to make sure his dinner is ready when he comes in at 5 so I've not read the thread as I'm off in a bit to do it (bacon and tom sauce linguini). Then tonight I will do nothing I think. Quick question, I'm not very technical but we've got a new modem and service provider and as such the internet connection from the fax can't plug into the modem....I take it you can buy adaptors? I've been hassling the Tax for my SE Assessment statement and still haven't got it and need to get a fax off to the student loan people ASAP as I told them a couple of weeks ago I was expecting it "shortly".....and as I was one of the first wave of student loan people I've never done anything via their website so have no log in details so can't e-mail anything to them..... May have to ask OH to send it from work tomorrow
Right I'm off. Super scrimpers tonight and I still haven't watched Make Do and Mend yet although it doesn't seem to be on my Virgin Media 4 ondemand page......is this right? But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green

Oh dear, I've been on the receiving end of this sort of thing on FB...again band orientated....(not Ultravox is it? LOL!). I had a huge cull in Jan (which caused everything to kick off even more and 3 people in particular I had to block and others reported them to FB) but now have very few people on there I haven't actually met....TBQH sounds as if she's been copied in on your post..... try and see who you have in common - I did this and hence the cull LOL!But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. happy birthday lamewolf
harduphester, love the description of your nurse :rotfl:
jackieo, sounds very interesting, i must make a note to go there when i'm back down south.
sunnyday congratulations on paying off the mortgage! and the good weekend
Afternoon everyone. I've been MIA for so long but now it's back to reality: uni assignments, summer job/internship hunting, cleaning, scrimping etc
No stocking up the freezer or bargain hunting, it's now a battle to use up all my stocks before I move house in June!
I've been in Somerset with my boyfriend since saturday being classic tourists (stonehenge? check! sticks of rock on the beach? check! glastonbury tor? check! cheddar gorge caves, cheese and rock climbing? check!!) and had such a lovely time. He dropped me off in Brum at 12 and is still on his way to Cairngorns. And I'm here applying for jobs and catching up on washing. Time to trawl through the forum and the recipe threads! I've got a right odd load of food to get through.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

Bit like me and DS.....endless conversations about the Solar System. I desperately need to teach him some more Space facts
apparently my cervix is "down a long tunnel" !!!!!!?! I replied "or maybe your arms are too short?" :rotfl:

I think when you send someone a friends request they temporarily have access to your pages. I have in the past when I've sent friend requests and been waiting for a response.
adelight - Erm isn't Stonehenge in Wiltshire? Or has it moved :rotfl:
Rage - Hugs for you honey, hope you feel better soon. Chin up re the IVF, my very good friend has just gone through that and she's now due her 12 week scan on Friday
IVF was their last resort but it can work xx
Had a lovely day in the sun, broke out the paddling pool which the kids adored. Pity the neighbours and the squealing that went on
Not sure about tea.......TBH I am aiming for eating more intuitively which kinda flies in the face of meal planning
In a quandry as I really want to change the way I eat and see food so in order to do this I need to decide at the time what I want to eat rather than first thing in the morning. I suppose though if I keep a decent stock of stuff in I can accommodate most tastes. Will see how it goes....... I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
