Reverbe..... don't accept the mad woman on FB. If it bothers her a bit, it's no skin off your nose. I you do accept her, you will just make a worry for yourself. Why give yourself stress to try to save someone else's feelings?
Feel like having a lazy day today. Really should get myself going, so as I have been reading on here, I stripped one of the sofa covers off, so that I remember that I want to wash them all. That will get me off my bum and doing something!
Have to get out and clean the patio. DD1 made a cardboard castle for dd2 and the 2 of them were outside with glue and glitter, decorating it after they had painted it pink. My patio and garden are now very glittery, which is lovely but it's a b*gger to clean up.
Ah well, could have worse things to look at I suppose.
'Visiting cat' brought us a mouse yesterday. Funny, she never brings presents for her owner, just for us. We recently had a sausage roll and a yorkshire pudding in the last few weeks, along with a few mice etc.
Anyhoo, dd2 came in the kitchen for a banana yesterday, then walked out again. I heard her sister and chums shrieking ' she's holding it in her hand!!!!' Wee one came in the kitchen and I looked to see that she did, indeed, have a banana in her hand...... but in the other hand she was lovingly holding the dead mouse!!!!:eek::eek:I squealed because I wasn't expecting it. Cue gales of laughter from the kids. She said ' I can have it as a pet..... it can be my dead pet!'
You gotta love 'em. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

Just had a man here to look at the leaking roof-small technical hitch was he didn't bring a ladder so will be back later, who would have thought you needed a ladder to get on a roof????????
Since he called early to say he was coming have blitzed living room, scubbed blind, window and curtain pole, ironed new curtains and put them up, and am waiting for the dry clean only ones finishing their swim in the WM to see if they have shrunk or survived!
Jewellers phoned too to say my broken watch is fixed, would have binned it but as the kids bought it I got it repaired, so will soon be off to declutter £57 to pay for it:eek:RIP Iain

afternoon all. Lovely and sunny here today.Have been pottering out in the garden since just after 7 as was wide awake and tablets had kicked in .We had decking put in the back garden yesterday and it looks beautifull.Ds1 will be staining it today if he ever gets out of his pit;).Woofer been on a nice walk over to the field with my sis and her dog Betsy they were galloping round chasing balls for about an hour before the sun really got going and now he is lying in the garden cooling off in the shade. The school transfers officer got back to me this morning about dd not wanting to go back to the school she is currently enrolled at.He has said that there are places availible at the next to closest secondary schools but there is paperwork to fill in by both myself and the school to be done first.I have explained the situation to him and that I want to speak to the school again first to see if they can help resolve the problem. It isn't just my daughter that gets pulled into others arguments so I am hoping that they can sort it out without the need for me to change her school .Mind you the school she has said she wants to go to is a sports minded school which would suit her down to the ground as she is sports mad.So am going to wait till Tues next week when it is teacher training and try to speak to her year tutor about my and her concerns.Switching schools will be a last resort.
Speaking of dd,got her letter from the hospital this morning about her having a huge mole in her armpit removed:eek: she is booked in on the 5th May .It will be a relief for her as she is always catching it whilst shaving.
Dinner tonight is something with prawns , chow mein or a stir fry I think.
Have a lovely day all, enjoy the sun and take care:)Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -

Hester complain about the nurse! Please do, or she'll do the same to loads of other patients, and more ladies will be like me, to scared to go for the test.
Reverbe it's OK to ignore FB friend requests; and from what you've said of this lady, I think that'd be your best bet! Just my two-penn'orth.:o
Gotta go - Mr LW's on early shift today, working from home, and wants feeding.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Go on, you know you wanna be a TV sleb
Lamewolf - Happy Birthday lovey, have a wonderful day
Reverbe - Just reject it. And if she sends another reject it again. Honestly I've come to the conclusion no point being friends with people on FB who you just don't like. Your not obliged to accept her request <shrug>I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
