Smells like Hell, tastes like Heaven? I was told it's illegal to take them onto public transport in Malaysia. Does anyone know if that's true?Live as if your were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever - Mahatma Gandhi0 -

Yes, it is inappropriate but not illegal to take them on the public transport. Noone will arrest you or complaint for it (especially when you are foreigner). However, if you are going to bring it to the hotel be prepare to get a warning from the staff. It is banned in hotel. You can clearly see a sign with NO DURIAN. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
However, crewing gum is illegal in Singapore. Do not bring any of them to Singapore!0 -
We stayed in the Crowne Plaza in the 'tourist' part of KL during the summer. Very impressive more like a 5* than a 4 *. We paid £75 ish for 2 night. and that was with a child included in price. Check out tripadvisor.com to get an idea of the standard of hotels. We found this to be very useful before we booked.2p or not 2p? That is the question!0

youll see the no durian signs similar to the no smoking signs in the uk.
just a tip about anyone thinking of using airasia,if you book early morning you have a better chance of not being delayed as the planes park overnight at kl and bkk, later on in the day there is more likleyhood of a delay, its great for the kl-langkawi route.0
