    Hi beefyboy!

I hope you'll be pleased to hear that all is fine!

    We received your application wit
hin five working days and the initial meter reading has been accepted.

There are no problems with your application and you'll still be eligible at the current rates.

    Best wishes,

    Sally :)

  • Thank you Beefyboy and Greystonefoot for sharing your recent experience with N-Power.

And a massive thank you to Sally for her timely advice and reassuring presence on this forum.

D-day is tomorrow for me with our installation coming up, so fingers crossed that there will be no issues with our paperwork and we can start relaxing a little bit more in our household....

If all OK (:j), a little drink might be in order I think!

Thank you all for your assistance.

I am absolutely delighted and relieved to hear that Sally, and would once again like to thank you and your team for your extremely prompt responses and reassurances.

I did receive an email this morning from the FIT team to reassure me that the application was being dealt with, that all payments would be backdated from my application date, and that they would be in touch within 6 weeks if required (and I'm even more delighted to hear from you that all is well).

I also appreciate that the team must be enormously busy at the moment, and am now content to let them deal with my application.

To date I would say that I have had a very positive experience with the process so far. :)

    With best wishes,

    beefyboy
  • I'm not sure if I should be worried sent the forms off yesterday, and while it gave a freepost address, we sent special delivery, odd thing is the online tracking said the address was incorrect, though they still delivered it, just hope the name PISANI who had a smiley face on there signature is an Npower employee!!!

I had the same experience - wasn't able to find an alternative to the freepost address but it definitely got there!

Hi I also did the same thing and mine showed as re-directed but it did get there - apparently.

Sally - Hope you can help I sent off my application on Thursday 10th November which showed as arriving on the 11th November - I then phoned on the 16th as wanted some confirmation that everything had arrived and was okay was told it had been received and that I should get a letter shortly, and then would receive another letter with my FIT letter along with the terms and conditions which I would need to send back. A couple of days later I did get a letter just confirming receipt of my application but since then nothing........With the deadline looming I'm just worried about something being wrong on application etc but trying to get through on the phones is a nightmare and I get that as Im sure a lot of people in the same boat.....and any re-assurance would be comforting

  • Hi Sally,

thanks for getting back to me - it is a big relief. I have sent my details off and I think I will send a quick email as a backup - I have had problems with Royal Mail before. I second what beefyboy has written, thanks to you and your team.

I did ask for another address and was given the following as a direct send rather than freepost.

    NPower
    Fit Admin Team
    Acorn House
    Bridgewater Road
    Warndon
    Worcester
    Worcesterhire
    WR4 9FP

Hopefully this will help those that do not want to use the freepost address - I certainly didn't.

Fingers crossed now that everything is ok with my forms.

    Regards

    Nick
  • Spoke to the Npower team this morning to follow up on my application which they should have received, and as mentioned in other posts, the error on the mail address is to do with the freepost address, anywhay the agent I spoke to did mention the smiley face on the signature, so it has arrived, though to early to check if its on their systems, give them credit, as I imagine it was busy, took just over five minutes to get through which considering the position the goverment has put everyone, is acceptable.

Still nail biting though with only a week left in reality
  • I am becoming worried, very worried indeed about this Npower business. Reading this forum is really not helping.

I sent my Fit application form to Npower on the 17th Oct 2 days after installation after speaking with them on the telephone to make sure that I had included all the relevant paper work. They told me that the process take 4 to 6 weeks once the relevant checks had been sorted.

On return from holiday 4 weeks later I rang again, to be told that they had received my application. A letter dated the 9th November was sent out to me stating what had been said on the phone and confirming that it can take around 6 weeks to complete checks and if there was anything they needed they would be in touch asap.

I have had no email or any other correspondence since the 9th of November. I have tried calling but to no avail.

Can anyone help please or give a little reassurance that this is the norm and everything will be ok and that its just a matter of time before things progress.

    Many thanks in advance.

a1bert, im in exactly the same situation as you. I got a letter saying it will take 6 weeks, similar time to you. not heard a dicky bird since. It took long enough to get the letter admitting they had recieved my application. phoning them was no better. I suspect we will have to wait until after the december deadline when the rush has calmed down before we hear anything.
