Hi,

There seems to be a lot of discussion and many questions being raised around the FiT schemes.

If you have any questions specific to your application, you can email forumresponse@npower.com and I'll get them looked into.

I know some of you have already emailed in and hopefully everything is still okay! I just wanted to respond seperately to some of the queries on here...

paltibine - I am speaking to the FiT team to find out any problems they are having with their telephone line and will update you as soon as I know.

Barter - One of my colleagues is looking into your questions about your upcoming installation and I'll get you the answers asap.

greystonefoot - If you would like to email your details to the address above and any queries, I'll take a look at them for you.

Best wishes,

Sally :)

Just a reminder - you do not need to use your existing electricity supplier to provide your FIT payments.

You can use any approved FIT provider: http://www.ofgem.gov.uk/Sustainability/Environment/fits/rfitls/Pages/rfitls.aspx

Hi,

I just wanted to come back with the answers to a couple of questions:

paltibine - I spoke to the FiT team about your queries.

We do require the originals to be put in the post, and for the form to be accepted we require all the relevant documents to be attached and to be fully completed.

Best thing to do is to go over the form twice just to double check!

I've been told that all applications should be reviewed within two days of receiving them.
If there are minor errors when we receive the form we will allow you to amend these and your eligibility will begin from the date we received the application.

If you have any more questions just drop an email to fourmresponse@npower.com and I can get these looked into for you.

Barter - I'm sorry you had problems getting in touch with the team. The phone lines are working but they are extremely busy at the moment and they are trying to answer as many calls as they can.

If there is anything that you need to ask, I can arrange a callback for you?

Hope this helps!

Best wishes

Sally :)

Hi All

For anyone still to register FiTs with nPower before the reduction in Tariffs the above is extremely important ....

Hi greystonefoot,
I've looked into this for you and it appears there was another error in your second application as Ofgem's central registry doesn't contain your site address. We've contacted them and they have assured us they will update the database.
Please don't worry as your eligibility is set at the current rates and will not be effected by the new tariff levels. You'll also be able to submit a meter reading in December as usual and receive your FiT payment.
Best wishes,
Sally :)

• Thank you very much Sally for the update. I don't suppose we know how long it will take Ofgem to update ( are we talking days, weeks or months? ) and until they do that I take it I won't get my contract. Also I don't quite understand how I will be able to submit meter readings if I am not registered though.
• Can Sally at NPower clarify what she means by "originals in post" ?? surely this isn't the MCS Certificate and Proof of Ownership, when the FIT APPLICATION Form clearly says COPY OF....??

Hi GrahamJT,

You are absolutely correct!

It doesn't have to be the originals - copies of the MCS and invoice are fine.

Best wishes
