How to remove felt tip pen on music keyboard keys

I am hoping that someone here can help me.

My daughter has drawn on her white keyboard keys (one of the large keyboards, not a kids one).

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of getting it off. I thought it was washable pen but it seems it is not.

Try rubbing gently using hairspray sprayed onto a soft cloth.

I just went off to do it and it is off.

I was absolutely furious, it cost so much money and I am sick of the disregard for things we buy her. I thought she had got out of this - she is 8! Actually, she has drawn on one of her MLP and baby annabelle's so I am going to see if it gets it off too.
