If you have car that is not on Finance or HP get your hubby to move it away from the house now

bailiffs are very good at driving past a property and noting the reg of a car near the house or on the drive
I am not an expert I am self taught i have no legal training any information I post is based on my own personal experience and information gained from other web sites

Who the hell signs off - 'robert the bailiff'!!!
I'd say that, as a child, he suffered from a lack of things with which to play. :p

    South Oxfordshire District Council

Bailiff Code of Practice for the Collection of Council Tax, Non-Domestic Rates and Community Charges

1.1 In the case of Community Charges and Council Tax payers no attempt should be made to enter into walking possession or to remove goods without obtaining prior approval from South Oxfordshire District Council, if it is apparent that the debtor is:

    (a) a pensioner
    (b) a disabled person
    (c) suffering long term or serious illness
    (d) suffering from a recent bereavement
    (e) a single parent family
    (f) pregnant
    (g) unable to understand English
    (h) a benefit recipient
    (i) unemployed
    (j) blind or deaf

The bailiff should establish for himself whether the debtor falls into any of these categories.

B&S will have an agreement with the local authority (as i believe most are similar ) that will have something along the same lines as quoted above

As you can see when the bailiff became aware of your pregnancy he should have not been trying to get a levy there is no need for a further visit

Is it significantly bigger than his flatulence-inflated ego?

I am ok thanks, luckily my OH is here at the mo ( or unluckily as he is still unemployed! ) and he is fab! Our 2yr old is running him ragged though! I have a planned c section next Thur and so cannot wait to get this baby girl out of me!!

Well the stress of waiting on a 2 yr old and a fluid filled partner hand and foot will make jobsearching seem like a welcome break :o

What is the bet he finds a job between now and next week when another little person requires a servant ;)

My c section went really well, I was dreading it (I'm not sure if you had one with baby 1). I thought I was on cloud 9 and the plastic sheet they were dragging me around on was a hammoc. It was so calm my son came out asleep and practically snoring. Very surreal. :)

noticed after i posted dancingfarey had told you

once you get the bailiff back in his box get the fees sorted you can be charged no more that £42.50 against this debt

Fees for the collection of council tax are set by legislation so any weird and wonderful levy/van fees can be sorted
