    Hi,
I wondered if some of you expert DTDers could help me out with planning the use of my vouchers please - I am a bit confused?!

Basically I did my first shop on 21st - got a voucher £18 next day (used club card).
I used that voucher yesterday and from it got another voucher today £19.50 (used clubcard and paid difference in cash). I also spent my own money  again and got a £19 voucher from that today. So now I have 2 vouchers to use. I paid cash but used clubcard on both purchases. I realise now that use of the clubcard is a NO-NO!

My questions are - if I don't use the club card again when I spend my vouchers will that be OK? If I use my voucher to buy shopping for a 'friend' and submit the receipt using their email address will this be Ok as I have used my clubcard to get the voucher - IYSWIM!!??

I can't believe I have only just caught onto this!!! Thanks for all your help. x

i do not think using your clubcard or not matters.
from what i have read the tracking is done through the email address.
i think its people just being careful about not leaving a trail.

Dont forget that clubcard has your name and address. They cant normally track email addys unless you use your home one but that is ok for a limit of £100 per month. Yahoo and other internet based email addys are basically untraceable.

Yes, but you can make your limited budget go so much further by using the DTD wisely.

Start off with a spend say of £15.98 cash ( Finish tablets & dentyl mouthwash) This is just an example of course.

This will generate a voucher of £19.96.

Now spend this £19.96 on other items you might use, washing up liquid, deoderant etc etc, using items to give you back another £20 voucher.

Now spend this £20 voucher as above....

Repeat until you've reached your max for the month. Then spend your final voucher on things which are cheaper at tescos.

Result, you've spent £15.98 cash but have received £99.96 worth of additional goods, so £115.94 in goods for a spend of £15.98:D

remember though, these goods would have cost you less than £60 at ASDA....i'm not complaining though! :D

Yes it would have cost you less in Asda, so basically , your profit you have to half, then you get a more realistic figure that you have saved. So on a months shopping eg £100 that would be a nice saving of £50, so with 2 email addresses that would make a huge £100 save per month between Asda and Tesco at true prices. Nice huh ?:D

so go back to cs and get dtd as they have overcharged you

    true, they did get overcharged.

but as a result, they walked with the chicken and tesco paid them to do this!

I've started a facebook group for fellow dtd'ers to communicate on, got to be the next mostly visited place on the internet, second to moneysavingexpert.

hope to see you all there :D

Thanks, but seeing as one of the main rules of MSE is not to share your personal/private info I don't think I'll be joining something that shows my full name, age, email address etc. Too many trolls on a thread like this, don't want things getting personal.............

Good luck with it though :)

I always use my clubcard. My SA forgot to run it through today so I went to CS and had the points added on.

You could keep your reciepts after you've used them with the voucher and try to have them added on then?

Can I just ask - the comfort strawberry that everyone is buying from tesco, is it equivalent to the Comfort Exhilarations Concentrate Strawberry & Lily Kiss in asda? I can't find one with just strawberry in asda.

Yes, it is the Comfort Strawberry & Lily Kiss (Exhilarations).

I've got a temporary, unregistered card. The plan is once this is all over (not for a long time yet I hope lol) I'll register it and get my points then :)
