Yes, but you can make your limited budget go so much further by using the DTD wisely.
Start off with a spend say of £15.98 cash ( Finish tablets & dentyl mouthwash) This is just an example of course.
This will generate a voucher of £19.96.
Now spend this £19.96 on other items you might use, washing up liquid, deoderant etc etc, using items to give you back another £20 voucher.
Now spend this £20 voucher as above....
Repeat until you've reached your max for the month. Then spend your final voucher on things which are cheaper at tescos.
Result, you've spent £15.98 cash but have received £99.96 worth of additional goods, so £115.94 in goods for a spend of £15.98:D0 -
just looking at a big shop receipt i had from yesterday, and spotted a couple of deals,
1 x PEDIGREE CMPLT ADULT CHICKEN & RICE 3KG £ 6.99 £ 5.48 dtd £3.02
1 x TESCO BITESIZE20 MINI SAVOURY EGGS 240G £ 1.50 * £ 1.00 dtd £1.00
1 x DANONE ACTIVIA CREAMY CHERRY YOGURT 4X120G £ 2.19 £ 2.00 dtd .38p (also worked on mango)
2 x PAL CHUNKS IN GRAVY MEATY SELECTION 6X400G £ 5.24 £ 5.08 dtd.32p
i'll go and do a ss form thing now.:)
also my husband picked up the wrong pringles, one normal size (1.08) and one party/king size (1.28), but they have given the offer discount at the botttom of the receipt pringles bogof -£1.99, nothing really to do with dtd as you would only pick up one to get dtd but seems a bit weird, can't get my head around it!
edited bit- hhhmmm, i was looking at the results page of the dtd voucher bit, and it says
x PRINGLES KING CAN ORIGINAL 190G £ 1.28
1 x PRINGLES SOUR CREAM AND ONION 165G £ 1.08
but on the actual till receipt it says pringles sco £1.99, crisps £2.36, so i can't work out if i got a good deal or not lol

MrsBartolozzi wrote: »So, from reading what you've put, you paid £5.08 for 1.215kg chicken legs. That makes them £4.18 per kilo, which is wrong. The Asda price looks about right, and from what's on t's website (chicken legs £2.09 per kg) you should have paid £2.53 or thereabouts for your chicken not £5.08.
Oh Oh Oh!!!
This looks like T have done the thing they did with the beef previously (converting to Lbs rather than keeping kgs), but to our advantage this time. It looks like they have set it as though you paid £2.09 per lb rather than per kg!!Making them seem dearer.
Is this possible do you think?
ETA: Having thought about it some more, if this is the case then it's probably more of an instore dtd than voucher kind, and you have been overcharged for the chicken.
After checking the fridge, I was actually being overcharge yesterday, as one pack is weight 1.215kg and another 1.142kg but the SA just scan the heaviest one and x 2 in my receipt. Luckily I got DTD0 -

I think they are charging different prices for the Pringles but linking them on the same bogof. They had them all mixed up on the end of an aisle for me yesterday and it was only after reading a post on here that I knew to go for the standard size for the DTD.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -

Error reads: could not load file or assembly 'filehelpers, version=2.0.0.0, culture=neutral, publickeytoken=3e0c08d59cc3d657' or one of its dependencies. the system cannot find the file specified.
after you downloaded it, did you extract it?
if you try running it from the zipped file you may get an error.0 -

I've started a facebook group for fellow dtd'ers to communicate on, got to be the next mostly visited place on the internet, second to moneysavingexpert.
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_115800141836271
hope to see you all there
Thanks, but I'm paying cash and not using a clubcard to stay under the radar, so I'm certainly not going to be advertising my name and my photo! Nice idea for anyone that is sticking 100% to the T&C's though0 -
