MrsBartolozzi wrote: »So, from reading what you've put, you paid £5.08 for 1.215kg chicken legs. That makes them £4.18 per kilo, which is wrong. The Asda price looks about right, and from what's on t's website (chicken legs £2.09 per kg) you should have paid £2.53 or thereabouts for your chicken not £5.08.
Oh Oh Oh!!!
This looks like T have done the thing they did with the beef previously (converting to Lbs rather than keeping kgs), but to our advantage this time. It looks like they have set it as though you paid £2.09 per lb rather than per kg!!Making them seem dearer.
Is this possible do you think?
i think they paid for 2 items i.e. 1.215kg x 2 = 2.43kg
2.43kg x £2.09/kg = £5.08:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

I've started a facebook group for fellow dtd'ers to communicate on, got to be the next mostly visited place on the internet, second to moneysavingexpert.

nice idea - here I'm anonymous to Tesco. There, they have my name etc. Sorry but I prefer not to let mr T have too much info about me.
thanks anyway xx0 -

Ah, I see. Doh! :wall:
It still looks like they have compared the two packs to one of Asda's then. Odd, but I was gonna get some chicken anyway, so I'll maybe give this a whirl to see.
It's only a game

2.43kg x £2.09/kg = £5.08
i don't think they have been overcharged.
it says 2 x value chicken in OP's post.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
