We used to be able to go to our local tip to pick up things if we saw them up there , nobody is allowed to do that now , infact , you will get fined if they caught you. I got 2 lovely little almost brand new bikes last year for a friends 2 grandchildren, they were immaculate , and would now be put into landfill , sad but true, what a waste !!!
our tip has a shop where they sell stuff for a few quid. that money is then pooled and a certain amount will be taken off the council tax. so its a win win situation
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.
  • Not sure how to add the apple juice, any idea?

How strange is it not to be going to Tesco today. I have loved every minute of this dtd offer. I now have enough shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, shaving gel, washing powder, comfort and dishwasher tablets to last at least 6 months.

My cupboards are fuller than they ever have been and we are eating well. The price of my shopping has reduced drastically.

And its all thanks to you wonderful people. Thanks for all your hardwork. I cant tell you how much its appreciated x x

  • Learnt from yesterday that I need to be more prepared with a list every time i do DTD! Overspent yesterday and shopping came back as £11.54 cheaper so missed out on £3 back because of the £20 cap, bah! But it's my first £20 voucher :D.
  • OK, As Stebiz said recently about 50 updates remaining to input.

have inputted all the confirmed items, so please check your lists and the SS and make sure its on there.

Right now I have a dinner to finish cooking as I am sure so do others.

Please bear with us as we go through the remaining items during the afternoon and add or amend the remaining, Rest assured they will all be dealt with before Mr t opens again in England.

    Happy Easter.
Clearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.

Nope, just going to head over to Mr T now:D For once, the lack of bank holiday weekends in Scotland is paying out:rotfl:.
