That is really interesting , I am going to look at that thread, I did wonder what no toiletries meant , but didnt like too ask , I am trying to be a lot more frugal , out of necessity , rather than desire. Hubby has got early retirement due to ill health , so you can imagine what we are living on as I cant work now as he is on 24/7 care. I cant even go out around to the shops without him now.

    You're welcome.

The "no toiletries" means they aim to eke out what they already have, either from prior purchases, or from the things they're given as presents over a year. Aiming not to have to buy anything, so reducing outgoings.

We used to be able to go to our local tip to pick up things if we saw them up there , nobody is allowed to do that now , infact , you will get fined if they caught you. I got 2 lovely little almost brand new bikes last year for a friends 2 grandchildren, they were immaculate , and would now be put into landfill , sad but true, what a waste !!!

Yes, plus making sure you use the smallest amount of anything, to do the job!

I understand, but I do try to stock with non food items mostly, or those with a long shelf life. It's nice for my 2 DS's, to enjoy treats, I just remind them now and again, that the Lucazade won't be on offer for ever, and that although say, the Frijj's have finished, it was so nice to enjoy them when we did.

But yes, think we should all plan for AfterDTDlife!

You are so right!! I have a number of Tesco's locally.. Whenever I've had an online shop it has come from about 10 miles away. Rather odd.

Yep, I've always noticed how my 'online Tesco' stocks far more products i've never even seen in my local.
