Just got 2 wombled receipts back from yesterday. One was no good but one was 78p cheaper at Asda so a coupon for £1.56 - not much but hey it's cost me nothing (pretty excited too as it's my first succesful 'womble' :T )

The items weren't too exciting but may help someone.

    1 x CARROTS CLASS I PACK £ 0.60 £ 0.50
    1 x DANISH CINNAMON WHIRL 2 PACK (1 kg) £ 0.85 £ 0.70
    1 x WAGG OPTIMUM PREMIUM GUINEA PIG FOOD 2.5KG £ 4.07 £ 3.54

    hth someone.

Also i thought that the amended T&Cs said at least half of the shop must be comparable (unless i've misunderstood it) but only 5 of the 11 items were comparable and it still worked! :D:T
28/04/11 - A bad day for shoppers everywhere (Tesco shoppers that is!) RIP DTD :A

says pink on the reciept it will get eaten anyway so no great deal and dtd would have gone over £20 if it DTD'd as was doing a normal shop stuff needed as well as DTD to boost it up
    thanks

you don't lose out in your situation.

i quoted a shop by jintyblue; in which all items were more expensive at tesco. in that situation, you do lose out.

EDIT: just realised jintyblue bought some reduced meat for about £2. But that's still £3 paid on expensive items at Tesco

p.s. @ jintyblue, you were very lucky that the reduced meat did not price match, otherwise you could have lost out a bit more!

Thanks for the info - the other items I bought were 2 for £2 fresh milk (which is exactly the same in Asda) and steak mince reduced for £4 odds to £2 odds and cooked turkey breast at 32p lol!
I appreciate everyones comments - but im more than happy with my DTD shopping (considering I got 25 extra points last shop too) Ive still got a £3 off £20 shop burning a hole in my pocket along with my 2nd DTD voucher (£10.18) - would it be wrong to spend it all on chocolate?? lol!

i dont think the comparable clause has ever been enforsed, i know many people were worried when this was advertised but i dont think anything ever came from it:o

Those who don't know how to update the spreadsheet, go to the first page of the thread and click on the spreadsheet link. You'll then see a few more options, and "spreadsheet amendment form" is one of those. Click that and put in the date, prices and any notes. It takes ten seconds!

To those waiting for vouchers who shouldn't be over the limit, try the trick where you re-enter the receipt details and click submit, then if it says it's still processing click back in your browser and click submit again. If it's just a bit stuck coming through then it should appear for you.
  • Yes that's part of the problem with dtd. I've now got enough laundry, dishwasher, teenage son ;) and household cleaning products to last me a over a year. This will save me money in the long run, and as I have spent less this month than I would usually spend on groceries it's win-win for me. Now though, I'm struggling to see what to use my dtd vouchers on that I will use and can reasonably justify stocking up on. I'm now looking at finest sausages and smoked salmon. Both freeze well and are expensive to buy usually so will be appreciated later on.

I'd like to see some double velvet loo roll offers, and some nice shampoo for me as I missed out on the herbal essenses ones. What would others like to see much cheaper in A than T??

I'd like another offer on herbal essences, or another shampoo and conditioner. Will try the vo5 in the meantime, shame you have to pay 50p for the shampoo though!

I'd love a good deal on gillette venus razor replacements, they are so expensive would be nice to stock up cheaply.

Another one I'd love is simple facial wipes, but I'll give the 3p olay ones a try for now

Also, some healthy food! My figure is suffering as a result of too many pizzas and cornettos! I don't like lamb or fish and not too fussed about the joints of beef so the only food I've really been getting dtd on is cornettos, cereal and pizzas! I did try the ricecakes but found them excessively salty.
