Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 5

My Tesco today asked me to sign both my old receipt and the voucher, the SA also signed both :S
I didn't question it, but I think I might if asked to next time.
I've had that too, along with variously keeping the old receipt, giving the old receipt back unsigned/signed and attempting to keep the new receipt. It's mildly amusing to play a short sweepstake with myself as I approach the checkout over which method will be adopted this time.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

My question is can I use this reciept for DTD now with all this written over it, felt annoyed with the CS woman for doing this as both normal shops (about 20 items) with a few DTD thrown in.
Go to the Customer Service desk tomorrow armed with the time and date you shopped and which till number you went to. Ask for a new receipt to be printed as you lost the old one. Job done.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

But didnt you start the SS originally?Clearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.

Nope, I've never been involved with it. I did used to collate all the day's deals and post them here in a single post. I still do this (collating the deals) but don't post them any more - just keep them for my own use. I'll repost them if people want them though, no problem. I just collate them in an email, send it to myself, then look it up on my phone in Tesco.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

Okay then, how do you buy 10 flumps if you've got a voucher for £20? You have to spend over £20 but you also can't get more than £20 DTD without wasting it!
You could use them to enable you to get some 'normal' N/A shopping with your voucher. Anything that pays you to take a product away works this way.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

you spend the other £11 on things with a smaller DTD value (for up to £3.80) therefore spending £20 to gain £20?.•¨¨*:•..•
