I thanked you by mistake - but I can't take it back now! I certainly didn't mean to thank you as , so far as I am concerned, ANY fiddling with the receipt or voucher details will end in one almighty mess !!! I can't believe that anyone is seriously considering giving Tesco the ammunition they need to stop this scheme in its tracks. They are already accusing some shoppers of fiddling their vouchers - actually messing with the details is absolutely daft.

After I thank someone, there's a message to the right which then says "remove thanks"...

But did you start this emaill off with a voucher claimed on an earlier email? I think they may add that in if you did.

No, it was started with a fresh cash shop :)

It would be well done me if I hadn't bought 11 when the CS explained I would be better off. DTD didn't even enter my mind at that stage really. I could hardly say to CS that I was happy to pay £3.60 for 4 when I could get 11 for £1.00 lol

lol no think ud of got some srange looks, ill def try this moro thank you. may mix them in with some shopping as if i get 10 on their own the sa will prob think im a nutter paying that for some sweets

I have found an amazing DTD by complete accident.

I bought some sweets tonight for my little ones and they love flumps, so I picked up 4 of these amongst other things for them. Thinking the flumps were 10p each and adding it all up it came to around £10 altogether. It actually came to £13.?? altogether, which I found strange but I thought I will look at the receipt and examine where I have been overcharged.

    The flumps..........90p each :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Obviously I questioned these at CS, she went and got the SEL as I was thinking I was on to a good DTD from them she said 'they are 90p each, it says so on the label' I laughed and said 'not a chance' they are 10p each so there is a mistake somewhere. She said maybe because they are fat free :rotfl: I said even then there is no way they are 90p each, I was laughing and joking about it, I found it quite funny. She said well you can buy 11 for £1.00 and we can give you the difference back, I said ok then.

First thing I do when I get back is check Tesco site

    Barratts Flumps Cable 90p

    I then check Asda site

    Barratt's Flumps 9p

    DTD £1.62 Net -72p

10 flumps in Tesco will cost you £9 in Asda 90p DTD £16.20 Net -£7.20

Obviously the SEL in Tesco should read 0.09p

    fill your boots! :j

lol can you imagine going to the till with 10 flumps and them saying £9 please? i know they actually would but still, £9:eek::rotfl:great find if it works!!:T

That's what I was thinking, but the CS desk people didn't think anything of them being 90p each, one thought they were so expensive because they were fat free :rotfl:

I will mix in a few tomorrow on a shop.....kids are going to love me!

Can I have some sweets mummy.....yes you can, a years supply of flumps! :rotfl:
  • Yay just got my results back from my first official DTD shop, got £17.54 back on a £17.77 spend :D. V. happy!

Anyone at a loss of what to spend their voucher on, here's an idea..

    IAMS DOG FOOD SENIOR & MATURE CHICKEN 3KG £10.15 £5 £10.3 -£0.15 0 Pet/House -1%

Will make a nice, useful donation to animal rescue shelters :D I have brought one today, I'm planning on buying a few more and I'll take them all at once to a local animal rescue place.

I was thinking of doing the same but for a homeless organisation (ie Human!). I know they exist and accept food donations but how would we go about finding one? I live in London and I'm sure there's lots of people that could benifit. Hope they like lamb :rotfl:
