Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 5

Having read these threads from the early days I have one or two observations.
Clearly this thread has made a great difference to some peoples quality of life. Others have abused the promotion relentlessly to the extent of greed which will accelerate it's demise. Some of the latter are so brazen they boast about their 7 shops in one go etc. I am happy to say I am one of the former.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. Please let's get on folks. The admin will close this thread if it goes down hill. Right any bad experiences today anybody? Any funny experiences?
Yes, I had a great DTD experience today (although I am 2000 miles away) - I successfully resuscitated my two dead vouchers, thanks to a post on this forum yesterday (sorry, can't remember who you are, but thank you).
First week this month I lost two vouchers, possibly becase they were both on the same email and close to 100 quid limit. Tried to re-input them numerous times to no avail, just got the "still processing" message.
So yesterday I re-inputed them both with a new email address and receipt time changed from 24-hour clock to 12-hour clock. And bingo! This morning received two new vouchers.

Not proud you say, taking the pee, you say, ruin it for everyone, you say?
Was that not you PROUDLY boasting a few posts back that you could easily take a bath with the amount of Lynx you have 'bought'. Why don't you send your 'bought' Lynx, etc to the poor squaddies in Bastion so that they can wash away the stench of the dead from themselves or to Romanian orphans so that they don't have to smell of their own excrement.
Oh by the way, I do struggle financially. I am a disabled War Pensioner who has continually and persistently taken advantage of DTD to get by whilst giving away stuff that I don't need. What's your excuse pal? Why do you subscribe to these threads if not to take advantage?
Double standards I say. Two-faced, I say. Tw4t, I say.
Your last sentence is completely uncalled for. A difference of opinion is one thing but there is no need for name calling.0 -
Not really but a supervisor was called to inspect my £20 voucher. I was holding my breath, as my previous shop was just a tin of salmon and Finish dishwasher tablets for a total of £16.99 (£2 of which was a Finish coupon)
I was just waiting for them to ask how I had a £20 voucher for a £14 spend! Luckily they didn't.
If they ever mention receipts like that just say "isn't it ridiculous that tesco can charge so much for for two everyday items yet claim tip be the cheapest" especially as they aren't even multibuy items.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

Well done!
Is the expiry date what you'd expect from the date of the receipt?"However, Tesco clearly underestimated the Great British Shopper's eye for a good deal."
