first mistake it was heaving -and i picked up the wrong cokes by mistake 2 x12 packs for £6 luckily theyre not stocked in Asda according to website so should come back N/A
No beef, steak, kids battery tooth brushes, cod loin, cornetto enigmas so eventually managed to get a few goodies got my gran an easter egg and also red salmon and a few other luxuries that she would otherwise be unable to afford.
Went to join the queue to pay and still absolutely manic so i said to the checkout supervisor i have a dtd voucher - do you want to check it first before i go through the checkout to safe causing a hold-up, he said no if you just put it through the till as normal but dont pay for it take it to customer services and ask them to recall the transaction, so i explained all this to the girl at the checkout and she gave me a receipt to take to C/S which i did i then explained it all again to the C/S woman and she said you shouldn't have been able to do that if you werent honest you could have just walked out with your stuff with out paying, so good job i was honest !! she then rings someone to come and have a look at the receipt 10 mins later he eventually arrives and oks it - yippee!!! then the silly woman only goes and writes all over my new receipt before giving it to me, i just wasnt quick enough to grab it, i can tell you i was calling her more than a silly woman under my breath, i tried to reason with her and say she shouldn't have done that but she was having none of it and then had the audacity to say well if you do manage to get another DTD voucher which i very much doubt you will have to come back and see me again to use it - Nooooooooooooooooo - what a nightmare!!
Sometimes i do wish though that i wasn't honest - could have saved her from ruining my lovely voucher - wouldn't mind but i had paid cash only a couple of days ago and this was the first voucher from the money to return to me.
I did find though a pack With a "MAC 3 Turbo" in it with 15 blades which they were selling around christmas for £20 for only £10, needless to say i had put this through seperately so not to mess up my DTD voucher anymore than i/she already had done!!
I got those cokes aswell the other day and mine came back N/A.0 -
Just in case anyone from Mr A's is looking at this thread....
Why don't Asda accept our Tesco Price Check vouchers??
That would be one in the eye for Mr T....and we would get to use our vouchers in the supermarket that really is the cheapest!0 -

I'm in Salford but have friends and family in Oldham, so have done a tour de dtd around Oldham - no probs at all. Was at Cheetham Hill today and that was great too - even got my receipt back without scribbles (had to make the OH throw it away so I wasn't tempted to re-print:o)Determined to be a thrifty Mama!0 -

AHHHH
you sound like such a lovely person
i feel so disappointed for you
you could try popping in again when that particular CS assistant isn't around and ask for another copy of your till receipt, say you've lost it and you need it. You should be able to tell them when and where etc as all details will be on old recipt!GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -
Have you tried re-entering the details to see if the voucher is waiting for you?
If that doesn't work some people have mentioned changing the date by putting 04 for april instead of 4 ...or the other way around if you put 4 in the first time.... Or changing the time by one min...then resubmitting, the Tesco system will treat it as a new claim and you should get an email voucher through 24 hours later.
If you do change the time by a min, you do take a small risk of the SA picking it up at the till. Other people have changed the time by 12 hours, entering 0204 instead of 1404.
Just inputted all the information again and it isn't moving from the input screen.
I can't alter the date because it is an on-line order :mad:0 -
I handed in my voucher today with the receipt the guy on the till said i dont want need that(receipt) and gave it back to me un signed!!!! so do I print another voucher!!! or is that greedy???0
