Evening all i went and did a dtd shop in a town in north devon beginning with "B" this evening, when i got in the shop it was absolutly packed - i had my gran with me as down visiting and thought i would help her put some goodies in her cupboards using this brilliant offer!!
first mistake it was heaving -and i picked up the wrong cokes by mistake 2 x12 packs for £6 luckily theyre not stocked in Asda according to website so should come back N/A

No beef, steak, kids battery tooth brushes, cod loin, cornetto enigmas so eventually managed to get a few goodies got my gran an easter egg and also red salmon and a few other luxuries that she would otherwise be unable to afford.

Went to join the queue to pay and still absolutely manic so i said to the checkout supervisor i have a dtd voucher - do you want to check it first before i go through the checkout to safe causing a hold-up, he said no if you just put it through the till as normal but dont pay for it take it to customer services and ask them to recall the transaction, so i explained all this to the girl at the checkout and she gave me a receipt to take to C/S which i did i then explained it all again to the C/S woman and she said you shouldn't have been able to do that if you werent honest you could have just walked out with your stuff with out paying, so good job i was honest !! she then rings someone to come and have a look at the receipt 10 mins later he eventually arrives and oks it - yippee!!! then the silly woman only goes and writes all over my new receipt before giving it to me, i just wasnt quick enough to grab it, i can tell you i was calling her more than a silly woman under my breath, i tried to reason with her and say she shouldn't have done that but she was having none of it and then had the audacity to say well if you do manage to get another DTD voucher which i very much doubt you will have to come back and see me again to use it - Nooooooooooooooooo - what a nightmare!!

Sometimes i do wish though that i wasn't honest - could have saved her from ruining my lovely voucher - wouldn't mind but i had paid cash only a couple of days ago and this was the first voucher from the money to return to me.

I did find though a pack With a "MAC 3 Turbo" in it with 15 blades which they were selling around christmas for £20 for only £10, needless to say i had put this through seperately so not to mess up my DTD voucher anymore than i/she already had done!!

We need Asda to do 4 x boxes of 12 440ml Strongbow for £20. Then we could DTD it against the Tesco 4 for £25 offer and get 4 for £15 :D

    Dream a little dream................ lol

does anyone know if there will be vouchers tomos or will it be saturday???

I presume there will be vouchers tomorrow, as I suppose it is a computer generated process as there cant be humans actually checking each receipt as it would be too time consuming. I dont know thou, does anybody else know please?

Not long got back from tesco, went to a young lad who obviously wasn't bothered, no problems spending the voucher but he must have ripped the receipt off too soon because it's torn and the all-important numbers are missing :( Think I would be less upset if I'd lost £20 cash!

Now I'm down to 2 vouchers both around the £10 mark due to me picking up the wrong things in the past :(

In store CS should be able to reprint the receipt. One of the self service machines had the equivalent of a paper jam and chewed up my receipt recently. I went to CS and someone toddled off and came back with a reprint on an A4 sheet. Might be worth asking CS tomorrow?

bit cross, oh has just asked (well he was asking as long as the answer was yes) if he could go out allll day on his bike tomorrow, so i nipped up to the coop to by some chocolate, shredded wheat and mini eggs to make chocolate nests tomorrow with the kids.
    why am i cross?
because oh is going out on his bike all day? nope

because i had to pay rediculous non dtd prices for choclate shreeded wheat and mini eggs? maybe a weeny bit.

because, i shouldn't have gone and got the ingreadientsnow, as that would been a great bribe to get the kids to tesco tomorrow:p
