Snapshot of some nice things Mr T is putting up in price making for some very good DTDing... keep your eyes open next Tuesday.

Nesquik milkshake powder 300g all flavours
    Robinsons Double Concentrate Orange (1.75L)
Robinsons Fruit Shoot Apple Low Sugar (8x200ml)
Britvic J20 Apple & Raspberry Juice Drink (4x275ml)
    Strongbow Cider (4x440ml)
Nestle Munch Bunch Drinky + Strawberry (6x90g
    Fox's Echo - Mint (6x24g)

If you really want to wind a trout up, do a £36 DTD shop which includes the £12.98 Finish 56's dishwashing tabs. Use the £5 Co-op coupon, £4 off Sainsburys till spit coupon, £5 off Finish coupon, £2 off Finish coupon, £20 DTD voucher. Pad basket with normal shopping items because of cap.
    Tuppence to pay.
    SA reaction - priceless

    DTD = £20

and yes I have done this.. :rotfl:

    GOOD MORNING VIETNAM!!! :D

Right - in warmer climes, no time to catch up on this thread. Please update me on happenings in a few scant bullet points.

    Succinct is the word.

    Be brief.

    TIA :T

    You'll get thanks.

Wolf Blass & Betty gone :(. Actually having to pay around £2 a bottle for wine . Still toothbrushes, Comfort, Lynx, Cornettos etc to be had. Cod loin does/doesn't work. Smoked salmon nom nom nom.

Seems to be fewer trouts :)

All well with the world really :T

    Are the vouchers in yet?

  • Can I ask a question please? I am planning to go to Mr T's today and try out this DTD for the first time. But I'm worried about doing something wrong. If the total DTD is just over £20, will the voucher be for exactly £20? Is that why people are quickly adding a couple of extra items in their trolley at the checkout? Sorry, I've tried to read through the thread as much as I can, but it's all a bit confusing for me at the moment.

TIA for any help you may be able to give. x

Morning, I always take a list of back-up items, so if something's out of stock, or the T price is cheaper, then I have the possible alternatives ready. I avoid having a mini-meltdown in store that way...preparation is key!

Good luck, let us know how you get on.

can i ask a question regarding the SS....
I have read that if items are not submitted within a week then they will be deleted from the SS, is this correct?
so, if that is the case, then what will happen to the old time favourites? such as magnums, enigmas, the things that we all know are DTD , nobody is going to submit a form for these items knowing that we already know they are DTD (as long as prices dont change within a week), then eventually that particular item is going to dissappear off the SS and people are going to think it is no longer DTD, the list is eventually going to get shorter and shorter.
I did notice last night that the vaseline lip therapy was not on the SS so i submitted a form, but we all know that this one works as it has done all week, but if nobody is submitting a form for an old time favourite then its going to dissappear from the SS...
Anyone know where i am coming from or am i talking utter jibberish here?
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
