Do you by any chance come from the bristol area? as when i lived there a lot of people used the word "mind" at the end of their sentences - me just being nosey !! xx

I don't live in the Bristol area (best part of 200 miles away) but I do have a lot of friends who live in Bristol, who I spend time with, so its quite possible I pick it up from them.

Got my £19.96 voucher back and went to Mr T Wolverton (MK). Bought 4 crates of beer that are on offer for £25 so paid £5.04 - but i struggled handing the voucher over as I know can't do a price check claim on this purchase :-(
The SA didn't have a clue what it was - Jeez, felt like i was there for half an hour.. hurry up and give me my shopping for £5 please.
I'm going back in an hour for the smoked salmon 100g, wilkinson sword razor and toothpaste:rotfl:

you will not belive what we have just seen in our local tesco extra i hear a supervisor say to a staff member we have just had this from head office and we have got to go trough all these so being the nosey parker that i am i looked over her shoulder as to pick up a item and he presto what did i see the moneysaving expert spreadsheet lol there on to us and we have spys

Let's hope that MSE have/can copyright it and charge Tesco for using it (someone else on here mentioned it would cost Tesco hundreds to get this done professionally)

    SS team, are you listening?

Re: the Lindt Gold Bunnies. I cannot see the 50g ones on the Asda website, so would advise people to double-check if they are going for these

I think the makers of the spreadsheet should should be charging Tesco if they are using it without their consent!

    It's that LittleMissTesco I bet....:p

I think our Tescos (North Shields) have been removing every bit of meat that's listed on our spreadsheet for some time now... even the fish! There's been no rack of lamb for weeks, no leg of lamb and no beef on the shelves.... however I went in this afternoon to discover a mountain of lamb legs and silverside beef that has been conveniently reduced by more than half! Oh well I've had plenty of Bacardi and vodka.... wouldn't dare remove that from the shelves in a geordie town lol!

I love being a DtD'er!! Thanks all for cheering up my boring days and also putting a smile on my bank managers face!
    Ladedah :p

Yes, I am sure they will remove items where it's unviable to price match. Or more of a dirty trick that I noticed today. They had replaced / refilled the shelf space labelled with cornettos choc and raspberry with a very similar looking four pack, so if you were not careful then "!!!!!!" you can wave goodbye to your DTD.

So they'll remove all the bacardi that they are selling 2 for 26 bottles?

They probably put similar items near the ones that had sold out for a reason you dont tend to find ice creams in the washing aisle...
