I have been & killed off the big voucher I had prior to the capping. Wasn't sure what to but so mixed some obvious DTD in with hopefully same or n/a so may get a little voucher back.
If not just glad it's gone.
Also I mentioned the Smirnoff being £17 on T £13 on A however instore today T still priced at £20.XX. Didn't get it scanned but needs confirming 100%
Scanned at £17 in my local Mr T's today even though the sel said £20.490 -
Thanks to all who replied to me asking about the vanish oxi, scanned at £12 in my store so got one and something else to take my voucher up to to £20. That particular voucher started at £6, went down to £4, but I have steadily got it up to £20 with canny buying, so am well pleased! :T0

if you bought something 28 days ago chances are someone else may have had it already confirmed or the prices may have changed since then ...best option would be to check before posting info
I think this is what most people would do if this were the case before even thinking about posting - I know I do on the odd occasion I input an old receipt which I may have found lying around the house/tescos carpark:whistle:"You've got to cut your cloth to suit your wassname" Terry (my Dad), 1944-present0 -
Anyone know whats happening with the beef? In the Tesco I went in today they had top side top rump in vacuum bag/net at a special price (£4 something?) but there is silverside with basting fat at £8 something a kg in plastic box with correct barcode. Is this the one that is working? I am so confused! Please God, help me stop spending!0

Yep - that's the one. The one I got yesterday was silverside rather than the topside/toprump that is shown as an image in the spreadsheet, but the barcode seems to be the thing to look for - there were plenty of topside/toprumps there with the wrong barcode, and only 1 or 2 silversides with the correct one...0 -

Easter eggs
Has anyone noticed the large Easter eggs on mr A's website are coming up 3 for £10, whilst mr T has the same eggs on at £6 each, has anyone been able to confirm these, by my calculation 3x eggs at asda =£10 3xeggs at tesco = £18 so dtd £16 total cost being £2 for all three
Has anyone bought these successfully?
Please help me... So confused lol0 -
Hi, not sure if this has been mentioned before, but on my voucher, there's one digit missing from the 2nd to last number from the right (I think this is the cashier number). This was queried by the SA and supervisor as well, but in the end after a few minutes of umming and arring they just put it through.
Has anyone else had this issue and if so, what do you say to them, as Tesco have clearly dropped a digit from the voucher, so it looked suspect to me as well!
I had ALL my vouchers, six of them, like that yesterday - the staff took them, with one assistant advising the other "yeah, that's how they print them". I played along, putting myself in Regular Joe Who Knows Nowt About Computers Thicko mode, and said "I tried printing that b@gger five times this morning, but it always missed off that digit". Never mind that I've got a degree in comp sci and know very well that reprinting will make no difference. :-)
As a backup, I also printed off the first Tesco results screen which lists the receipt and the price comparisons and DTD value, so if there was a problem the assistant/supervisor could see evidence that the receipt tied properly to the DTD voucher. I think you'll be fine.0 -
I tend to only buy the old faithfuls, the ones everyone is aware of, pretty much. I've posted, but didn't want to keep repeating same thing. Should I be confirming these or as long as they are on spreadsheet and fairly recent not?
Had first instance of store insisting on keeping old receipt today. Don't know why it makes me uncomfortable, although in the end I had no choice anyway as supervisor was insistent. What do they do with them?0
