    just some chat

you may (~or may not) remember me posting a few days ago about a tesco till lady asking me some questions about how i got a £20 voucher and me getting verbal diarrhea and telling her about this site and the ss.
well, today i went to tesco, was trying to find some potatoes, and someone put there hand on my shoulder and said, "not after bacardi today then" well i just about wet myself ( or is it pooed a small onion?) turned round in it was her! stuttered er um er no not today :o then she asked "so what are you getting today then?" i just stood there like a lemon thinking 'oh my god oh my god what shall i say' then she said "i tried to go on that martin lewis site to see the list sheet but i couldn't see anything about it" so i then said (still thinking oh my god is this a set up) um well i'm just doing some normal shopping today, but i did look to see what was on the list and everything i wanted was on there so i made a note of them, and i'll maybe get another voucher back. then she asked if she could see my list:o:o (my printed excel list with t, a and dtd prices:eek:) i just thought oh well if im under surveillance they've got me anyway so i showed her my list, then went the whole hog and got out the suncream list and gave her that, she was over the moon.

OK, we have been working on some modifications to the way we update the spreadsheet as trawling through everybody's posts is a massive task, and there aren't that many of us.

So, with this in mind, from now on all spreadsheet update requests should be submitted using this form

    https://spreadsheets0.google.com/viewform?hl=en&hl=en&formkey=dEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE6MQ#gid=0

The form can be used to submit new deals, notify us of your confirmed deals for today, notify price changes or tell us to delete something.

The newly published spreadsheet is here - please note it has not been amended for about 12 hours so get your updated in to us and don't rely on it too much right now!

Before you send us an update, please check carefully whether the item is already on the spreadsheet. You can do this by pressing CTRL+ F and searching. If it is already there but you need to send us an amendment, then please copy the description from the spreadsheet in to your form. This will make our lives a whole lot easier, A LOT EASIER. PLEASE CHECK BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR CONFIRMED LIST if the item has already been updated for today.

Also, we will only put the website prices on the SS as there are regional variations in store.

The revised spreadsheet is located here (live version)

    https://spreadsheets0.google.com/pub?hl=en&hl=en&key=0ArDxW2XgVnGjdEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE&single=true&gid=4&output=html

We have tweaked the value column to make it easier to find the good deals. Those in red, you get back more than you pay (cer-ching!) - those in green, the net cost is less than 60% of the price you would pay at Asda.

We will no longer be updating from the thread (although we will keep our eyes open) so please, use the form.

note to all - deals which have not been confirmed for 1 week are deleted from the spreadsheet so remember to confirm them!

Just saw this and have submitted a new confirmation via the form :D:D:D:D

Thank you everyone for your hardwork :T:T:T

Hi, not sure if this has been mentioned before, but on my voucher, there's one digit missing from the 2nd to last number from the right (I think this is the cashier number). This was queried by the SA and supervisor as well, but in the end after a few minutes of umming and arring they just put it through.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so, what do you say to them, as Tesco have clearly dropped a digit from the voucher, so it looked suspect to me as well!

They also queried the date being different, i.e. 15:00 vs. 3:00, but I pointed out that one's using a 24-hour clock and the other a 12-hour one. Thanks in advance.

YAY :j Finally got my reciept from last wednesday through, thought I'd check all my email addresses after the submit - back - re submit wasn't working for me and the first time ever I have an email sent at 3.59am this morning confirming my check for the shop on 13/04 - no good to me now as I was reluctant to try the beef and pork again until I was sure it worked :(

Just 2 from yesterday now outstanding.....now do I go to Tesco today for my bits or wait for Brothers voucher and my cash shop one to come through really can't be going twice, 4yr old grandson was complaining "oh no nanny, not the big tesco, why can't we go to the little one?" 11yr old DS replied "coz the little one don't sell the things that nanny wants to get a voucher back, anyway the big one is good coz that Tesco pays you money to get your shopping there" :rotfl:Kids eh

im wondering if there is more than one type? when i bought mine there was a pro-expert one but it wasnt medium? I dont mean to sound patronising but have you both definately bought the right one??

Another point... i shopped about 11am maybe the asda website changed after this time???

definitely bought the right one (same as is bought inthe week) but I guess Asda are no longer stocking that particular one - it's nt on their website anymore

last week i just typed in any email just to try it and the voucher still popped up so do not think email has anything to do with the receipt verifying?

Can I ask if you had already put that receipt in using a different email?

    Just to clear things up:

After speaking to Tco CS regarding my missing vouchers from the 12th -

The lady asked for the receipt no's.. I asked her what it was she was doing and she told me that she was entering the receipt details to HER email address so that she could see the message I was getting (processing).

I think this proves that the email given does not matter - as you can check for the voucher under any email address

    Hope this helps.

a bit more chat (those who don't like chat theres nothing important here!!)

i did a 'normal' shop at tesco saturday and just for interest i put in my receipt. it came back with a 95p voucher, i probably wouldn't have printed it, but my 7 year old daughter was sat with me and asked if she could have it.
she went and bought a milkshake (put her own money towards it) entered the reciept and got a £1.20 voucher. then she added a bit more money went and bought a vasaline lip balm thing, and got a £2.14 voucher.:) today she has bought a comfort strawberry which she has arranged to sell to her nan for £1.50 :pand hopefully tomorrow she'll have a £2.30 voucher:). But on top of this today when paying for her comfort the jammy thing got a £6 off a £40 shop spit, which she has asked if i'll buy it off her for £3.00 (that way we'll both be getting a good deal - her words!)
    good girl:T
