You're joking!? So if I buy something 28days ago but only submitted it yesterday and received the confirmation today I should list it as today's date? That means every date is inaccurate since we don't know when the person actually bought the items (and that's what counts), so a deal could be long gone even if it's listed as confirmed today!

But you don't take the spreadsheet at 100% anyway. Check the prices on Asda/Tesco. If they are the same, and it has already been confirmed previously (ie on their price checker) it is likely it is still on there. As Scotsgirl has said. Maybe in the future it can be changed, but please don't complain. You really don't know how much effort has gone into this - and FREE time.

    new spreadsheet information please read
OK, we have been working on some modifications to the way we update the spreadsheet as trawling through everybody's posts is a massive task, and there aren't that many of us.

So, with this in mind, from now on all spreadsheet update requests should be submitted using this form

    https://spreadsheets0.google.com/viewform?hl=en&hl=en&formkey=dEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE6MQ#gid=0

The form can be used to submit new deals, notify us of your confirmed deals for today, notify price changes or tell us to delete something.

The newly published spreadsheet is here - please note it has not been amended for about 12 hours so get your updated in to us and don't rely on it too much right now!

Before you send us an update, please check carefully whether the item is already on the spreadsheet. You can do this by pressing CTRL+ F and searching. If it is already there but you need to send us an amendment, then please copy the description from the spreadsheet in to your form. This will make our lives a whole lot easier.

The revised spreadsheet is located here (live version)

    https://spreadsheets0.google.com/pub?hl=en&hl=en&key=0ArDxW2XgVnGjdEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE&single=true&gid=4&output=html

We have tweaked the value column to make it easier to find the good deals. Those in red, you get back more than you pay (cer-ching!) - those in green, the net cost is less than 60% of the price you would pay at Asda.

We will no longer be updating from the thread (although we will keep our eyes open) so please, use the form.

note to all - deals which have not been confirmed for 1 week are deleted from the spreadsheet so remember to confirm them!

Boing Boing BOing bouncing this again

It has been said for a long time that the SS is a guide and people do need to double check prices before they leave to go shopping.
I don't think anyone would be posting confirmeds here from that long ago.
In addition, before anything is initially added to the SS, or deleted, we check both Asda and Tesco website to double check the items.

I only use a couple of email addresses, work/personal, but made a bit of a faux pas today..............I keep all my receipts together and have 3 or 4 in total (2 I know I had already used, but hadn't been written on or taken off me by SA's and I was considering taking them in to have clubcard points added), trouble is, I couldn't for the life of me remember which ones I had already had a voucher for and used and which I hadn't (because I didn't do them in order) plus I couldn't remember what emails I had used to input them, work or home email addy! So, I used my home email to input a receipt details and got the "already being processed" message and then when I checked a few minutes later, I had received an email to my work email address with the voucher on! Obviously, I had muddled the emails and am now a bit concerned...............Basically, i've got a voucher that I don't know if i've already used, that I input the wrong email address on, but somehow it managed to get sent to the original email address that I input and don't know what to do!

Is it going to be dodgy trying to use this voucher, or not? Best to throw it away and accept that i'm an idiot, or just use it? Obviously, the problem is that i'm in the same boat with the other blasted receipts now too and will ensure I keep a record from now on.

    Thoughts?

I, for one, thank scotsgirl and her mse pals for keeping the SS updated. It can never be perfect as both Asda and Tesco keep changing their prices. (Just to annoy us of course)lol

They can only do the best they can, and that best is more than good enough for me.

Well done all of you keeping the SS updated, I think everyone should remember they don't get paid to update the SS, they are volunteers and as such give their time free of charge.

Please be grateful for everything they do.

I'm sad for the 3 receipts I haven't had anything back for yet.

    :mad::(:mad:

Are people still getting the "over the limit" emails or do you just not hear anything?

If I am over the limit, am I right in saying that I can enter then next month?
